10/2 UF-B Wire, Underground Feeder and Direct Earth Burial Cable (100ft Cut)

This purchase was exactly what I wanted. I'm NOT an electrician and I have this tendency to overdo/overbuild everything. The wire arrived quickly and was perfect. BUT I made a mistake. I'd forgotten how strong 10 gauge wire is. If you're just a regular homeowner like me and not an electrician who knows exactly what he needs, keep in mind that stuffing this wire into an electrical box is like bending steel. If you don't need 10, back off to 12, or maybe even 14 if that's all you really need. I didn't need 10 and therefore made my project a lot harder than it needed to be. Better luck to you on your project.

It was a lot cheaper. It is wire, does what it needs to.
