These needles are sharp and durable. I found them to work beautifully with my batik fabrics, since they left very small hole in the fabric. These are great for tightly woven cloth. I appreciate that they don't break the bank!

Needles did the job and arrived sharp and fast.

Love these needles! They are perfect for quilting through quilt layers with fusible web. Because the eye of the needle is tiny, I always cut my thread at an angle, hold the thread about 1/2" from the eye, and the thread just glides right through. I sew with polyester thread, not sure if that matters or not. Schmetz is my 'go to' sewing machine needle!

This order was well packaged, arrived very quickly and is as described. Where else could I get five packages for the price listed? I read another review that mentioned she uses these needles for applique and I do a lot of satin stitch applique. I have been using universal 60/8, but microtex are sharper and I think will do equally as good a job as universal if not better. I am very happy with my purchase.

I believe Schmetz brand needles are definitely one of the best performing brands available on the market. I have been using them for over 50 years and they are my preferred brand. They are consistently sized, made of high quality materials and are color coded so you can make sure when you change out your needles you can be sure you are using the correct size. They feature “ universal” points so are suitable for all types of fabric. They are available in packages featuring assortments or in just one size and they make a variety of sizes and special use needles.

Great for sewing fine fabric. However, took some time to thread bacause they are so fine with small eyes. . I also broke a few. I guess because they are so thin for very lightweight fabric!

The Schmetz microtex sharp sewing machine needles arrived securely wrapped. They fit my Singer 44S HD machine. I used this needle for microfiber pillow case repair and it worked great. No big holes and nice stitching. I highly recommend this brand.

There were supposed to be five packages of needles. However, I only received four. I’m not very happy about that at all. The needles are perfect but when you’re paying for five packet five packages of needles, you should get five instead of four. I thought it might’ve been in the box the way there was a cardboard in there, but there wasn’t.

I was waiting for the neddles to use on thin fabric but these needles are not strong nor of good quality. Broke two in 5 minutes!
