Product as advertised. This was my last resort after trying multiple generic stain removers. I followed directions on the label: the nail polish stain that I had on my white Egyptian Cotton sheets for over a year was gone in under 30 minutes. Very happy customer!

I purchased this in Oct 2014 to have on hand "just in case" because I love polishing my nails but knew that eventually I was going to end up with polish somewhere other than my nails. It took 15 months to need it but man-o-man am I glad I had this around. I was sorting my polish and accidentally kicked a bottle and it broke at the neck, spilling red holographic nail polish onto my new carpet (in my new apartment... haven't even lived here a month yet!). I immediately threw salt onto the polish pile to soak up the polish that hadn't penetrated into the carpet yet and let it sit for a few minutes while I went to grab the Carbona. The clumped polish was easy to pick up with a paper towel and I was left with a nice half dollar size of red polish on the carpet. I squirted about half the bottle onto the spot, let it sit for about 10 minutes and then started to dab with a paper towel. Once I'd gotten up as much moisture as possible, I poured about half of what was left in the bottle onto the spot again, folded a paper towel over to make a square about the size of the spot and set some heavy books on it for another 10-15 minutes. Once again I blotted as much as possible then sprayed some water on the spot and continued to blot. At this point the spot was almost completely gone. I used the remainder of the bottle on the spot, scrubbed with a white towel and amazingly enough, the spot is barely even noticeable. I went back after a few hours to see how it looked after it had a chance to dry and it took me a minute to even find the spot! Red polish out of a beige carpet! I was amazed!! I'm definitely ordering more, as I'm sure between myself and my teenage daughter, we are bound to have this happen again at some point. It's much more noticeable in the photo as in person, it's near the wall inside a closet, but even so, it's WAY better than a giant red polish splotch on my carpet.

There at least 9 different types of Carbona Stain Devils. And they have 100% cured many of my stain disasters over the years, including mineral oil, sticker adhesive, ink, candle wax, chocolate, and other things. Always keep in mind the cardinal rule of stain removal: Don't put the stained garment in the dryer until you are certain the stain is gone. I just wish the bottles were larger.

While enjoying a walk around a nearby lake town I decided to sit down on a grassy area to enjoy my ice cream cone. When I stood up I felt something on the back of my shorts. I could not figure out what it was I sat in. A small area was sticky like sap or gum. Anyway I was super bummed because of course they were my favorite shorts. I washed them and it didn't come out at all. I found this and ordered it immediately. It was super easy to use. I poured a tiny bit over the area, just enough to make it wet. I waited a few minutes and used a butter knife to scrape it. A bit came off. I repeated the process 4-5 times. Each time there was less to scrape off, but still some of the substance in the fibers. After the first few times I stopped trying to scrape it and instead looked for progress. Each time there was less of a spot. It literally disappeared a bit more each time. Magical. It completely disappeared. I highly recommend this stuff!
