Great pump
Simple install for DIY's. After I completed the install, I poured water into the pit to see what the discharge rate was. Pleasantly surprised to find it pumped water out as fast as the main pump.

Does its job.
Excellent backup pump. I like that there is no submerged impeller. Calcium can't form and impede pump that only gets used periodically. It is more difficult to install but well worth the trouble. GET THIS ONE.

Easy to install and peace of mind.
Very easy to install. Pretty much any type of piping for inlet connection will work ( no garden hose) Pump is very quiet. Keep in mind, it will not pump like the main sump pump but, it does a pretty good job. It won't have a problem keeping up. Most important...peace of mind when the power goes out.
