Not very helpful. The manual covers too many years and too many models of the dodge trucks. The picture references referring to the dashboard/instrument panel do not look anything like on my Ram1500 2015. If you are new to this kind of vehicle, you would have a hard time taking apart and re-assemble. I am assuming this comment reflects other parts of the manual. Step by step instructions are very generic, skipping many steps in between. It's like if you were to change a tire, the manual would say "take of the bad tire, install a new one on." I have own Haynes manuals in the past for honda vehicle and they were good and well written with understandable picture references.

This is an example of the instructions: Coolant reservoir - removal and installation.1. On gasoline engines, remove the grille (see chapter 11).2. Disconnect the hose from the coolant reservoir.3. Remove the coolant reservoir.4. Installation is the reverse of removal.5. Add coolant as necessary.No kidding, this is 100 percent of the "help" this manual provides. If anyone has attempted this on a 2015 Ram 2500 6.7L diesel, you would, or should, bust out laughing. The actual process of replacing the coolant reservoir involves removing the battery mounting bracket, the air filter housing, part of the air intake, and the fender liner. While the manual is comprehensive and indeed mentions all these steps elsewhere in the manual (except for removing the battery mounting bracket - no mention of that), each of those procedures is equally simplistic, lame and useless. In fact, please subtract one star from my rating and go straight to Youtube for any auto repair help you need.

A person can't have too many repair books. These are pretty good. Good descriptions, pics and diagrams.

I buy one of these every time I buy a used car. When I sell the car the book goes with it. It is a great reference tool.

Very helpful book

I've always enjoyed Haynes manuals as they do a pretty good job. However, this edition DOES NOT include pictures/diagrams of the 5.7 HEMI which is strange because previous editions have. Between this book and youtube you can figure out how to accomplish any job.

It's a Haynes manual, not too explicate, but not too vague either. At least it had wiring diagrams, which was what I was looking for.
