I found an inexpensive Canon Vixia camcorder to use for streaming at the church. This cable was a necessity. It is plug and play as long as you have the appropriate HDMI to USB streaming device connected on the computer side. There are many here on Amazon that will work. My only gripe is that the cable is about 5 feet long and I really could have used a 6 or 10 foot. I will be getting a longer cable soon. However, this cable flat out works without any issues.

I had been desperately looking for the cable that came with my camera when I initially purchased it. I was demonstrating photography technique, and I intended to let the class see "through the lens" by hooking my Canon T6i up to a flat-screen monitor. The IENZA cable appears to be pretty stout and is a generous, six feet long. I don't remember the stock cable being so heavy duty. Bottom line is, the cable fit the camera and the HDMI port on the monitor perfectly, and it worked like a charm. I'm sure I would have paid a lot more if I bought a Canon replacement.

The cable works as expected.
