I almost never use an electric beater so I'm always reaching for a whisk when something needs mixing. I've bent and broken quite a number of wire whisks over the years. The cheap ones come apart from the handle, have too small of a handle for a comfortable grip, and then there's that cleanup issue of the crossover wires and the handle that never gets completely clean inside. The cheap ones sometimes rust as well. Enter the Zyliss Quick Blend. The full sized yet lightweight handle is comfortable in the hand and reduces fatigue. Although the handle is larger than that of an all wire whisk, it's light enough to prevent the tool from falling over backwards out of the bowl you're working in. The wires are permanently bonded to the handle in what appears to be a completely sanitary method that prevents liquids from getting inside the handle. That's very nice! The cleanup is easier due to the innovative wire design that eliminates crossover at the tip and the whisk just works well. A simple tool redesigned to be infinitely better. The next whisk I buy will also be a Zyliss, of that I'm certain.

This 8" whisk is a good size for most purposes. I really like that the individual wires do not overlap each other at the business end of the whisk, making it easier to clean than competitors. Why don't all whisks use this clever design? The materials used and the build quality are very good.

Great Whisk! Another well thought out Zyliss design. While the handle is not molded around the wires like other Zyliss tools (such as their potato masher) it is sealed completely, so no grime or dish water can hide like it does in pressed or stamped handles. It is a nice sized tool with a proper amount of heft to it without being clunky. The wire construction is a good gauge, made from good quality stainless steel and doesn't kink easily like economy whisks. The open design is far superior to the crossed wire type in both function and ease of cleaning. It has a good grip in shape and size and doesn't have an annoying "soft-grip", which often turns chalky or breaks down after a few years use. Also it is white. I personally do not like that every kitchen gizmo seems to be black by default, this looks good. I've had mine in steady use for two years and it still works great.

Using it to whisk pancake batter, it worked great, until it broke apart. This is after 2 years of use.I don't know if utensils supposed to hold longer than that, but I expected Zyliss product to be sturdier.

I love how easy it is to clean and it has held up in the dishwasher for years.

Love this!!!!! Asked my husband to make sure it was carefully placed in my hand before they burry me. Not that I'm planning on leaving any time soon. I also recommend the Zyliss can opener. It is also wonderful. I have spent a small fortune in my life on wire wisks. This is the best one I have ever owned. It is easy to handle, is well made, and feels neither too heavy nor too light. The wires are open at the end of the wisk so that thick ingredients slide right off without a struggle. And, best of all, The openings where the handle meets the wisk wires is sealed tight with some sort of clear plastic that was obviously poured onto the wisk and then allowed to dry. This creates a seal to keep water and food out of the handle and prevents rusting. I absolutely love this wisk. If you're like I was and are sick of waisting money and time on junk, do yourself a favor and put this in your cart now.

Being a professional private caterer, I see the very best in kitchen gadgets, and the worst ideas in gadgets. I have tried most of them, and the majority are strictly a waste of money, as well as my time. This Zyliss brand whisk is the prime example of a professional whisk for someone's home kitchen. This is a must to have in anyone's kitchen. I have had it for a month, and would like five more. It is that good. No rust on the ends; easy to clean; very sturdy; handle fits my hand perfectly allowing no fatigue when using it; and best of all, it really does the job! I will purchase this again and again. The commercial ones are way too bulky for my small hands, but this one was made to fit "like a glove". Thanks Zyliss!

I know it's hard to get very excited about a whisk, but trust me: this thing is amazing. I've owned it for over 6 months now, and it's been very useful in many different situations, including making omelettes, vinaigrettes, and for various baking recipes. The handle is sturdy and easy to grip even if you need to whisk vigorously.While other whisks are fine and will get the job done, you'll really be unable to go back to a regular one after you use the Zyliss. The reason is that the tip where all the wires normally meet isn't connected, and it really makes cleanup a breeze, unlike a traditional whisk. If you use a whisk regularly, I definitely suggest upgrading to the Zyliss because it'll make cleaning up afterwards super easy.

Zyliss Quick Blend Whisk is a strong, well made product.I really like the design, it definitely clogs up less than traditional whisks. Not that it doesn't capture food inside the balloon, just less and easier to clean out. As others have stated it is on the shorter side, but this lends itself to being stronger. I use this whisk for everything! From eggs to dough to sauces. My other longer, balloon stainless steel whisk broke and I have not felt the need to replace it. The Zyliss Quick Blend Whisk is the only one I need.

Let me start by saying, I absolutely love this whisk. I've used a few other whisks in the past but this one takes the cake for a couple of reasons. For one, this thing is built very well with some heavy gauge wire, unlike most other whisks in this price range. Two, the wires in this whisk do NOT cross each other, which means there's far less buildup on this whisk than traditional designs and thirdly, this thing has a well designed handle, which just makes using this that little bit better. I seriously can't recommend this whisk enough if you ever make batter, whisk eggs or conduct any other cooking task than might require you to combine ingredients together.

Hi:This a mixed review and once you read the following, hopefully you will understand.First; look at photo of this product and tell me if it gives you the impression that it is a normal size length of a smaller style ballon whisk. Well your firsts thoughts are wrong !The " Stainless Steel Whisks " themselves are very uniquely built and work great ( don't clog up ) , but the "steel whisks" are not very long ( 5 inches whisks - handle 4.5 inches ). So being this short @ 9.5 inches in total, this whisk overall is not long enough thus it will not be efficient enough for anything that is close to a large mixing task.The above being said and understood though, this whisk is absolutely great for scrambled eggs or anything that is very thick and is a small mixing job. The steel S.S. whisks are very stiff on the end and the handle is smooth and slightly slippery. The entire whisk is dishwasher safe ( top rack Only ) and will clean up under the hot water tap instantly and very efficiently.It is a specialized small ballon whisk, and you will only use it on that very odd occasion, but you will enjoy and appreciate the efficiency of this tool when it's required, thus justifying the cost of buying this limited use item. It falls under the same category of Flat Whisks etc { A Limited Use Kitchen Tool } .Given how unique the "steel whisks" on this item have been designed ( not over lapping / super easy to clean ), I'm surprised that this company has not made a similar full size whisk and simply change the slipperiness of the current white handle but keep the white colour intact. This company makes nothing larger in whisks, I already checked on the Zyliss Company Website ( Zyliss.com ) . For a larger whisk you simply can not overlook the very affordable "Norpro Whisks" sold on this website.The Zyliss " Flat whisk # 71379 " is also a very unique specialized product made by this company. I strongly recommend the "Flat Whisk" as well as this " Zyliss # 71378 Very Small Ballon Whisk " to everyone that has a need or use for it.I hope my review is helpful.
