LiteFuze LT Series Converter
This is a good Converter if you need to transform some power. I got this, along with a 220V surge protector, for a trip to Europe. The converter worked great with no issues. The only reason I would not give it 5 Stars is because of the noise (transformer "hum") and an odd smell when in use. I also did not really care for the size and weight of this converter, but it did get the job done, so no major complaints.

Love it, No Noise, very sturdy looking, works as expected
When I purchased this product there were very less review compared to the other similar products. After researching for quite a while, i decided to give this product a try and see if can work with the roti maker that I got it from India. It does really wonderful job. Universal pins works great, easy set up and most of all doesnt make any sound. ITs been just a week I recieved the item, as we use it I will keep updating the product review on its performance.

They were amazing in how they ultimately resolved the issue
This review is for product itself, as well as and especially for the manufacturer, not for Amazon. They were amazing in how they ultimately resolved the issue.I bought this in January 2016 for use with a 1800W Raclette table grill from Germany. First of all, the product arrive dinged and slightly bent but it turned on and did work. For about 30 minutes that is, before it shuts itself off. Great when you have 7 other guests trying to eat Raclette, a bunch of food on there and no other way to power the grill. We tried different outlets and only after about 15 minutes off, could we turn the transformer back on. It would do this the 3 other times we used it, it would work fine for about 30 minutes, then shut itself off, as if it just couldn't handle the 1800W.So finally I got fed up, pinged Amazon and the agent at first referred me to the manufacturers website to claim the warranty. On their website, when it comes to warranty claims, they say to contact the authorized seller with warranty issues! - So I send them several messages over the course of a few weeks, explaining the issue with absolutely no response. I then check their "support forum", only to find that all the posts on their are basically bots posting links to movie or sports streams or literally bots talking to each other in the most awkward way. So basically, this company doesn't have any real support for their products.Thankfully, Amazon was great and issued a refund after I reached out the second time. This transformer might work for lighter applications but the 2000W version definitely can't handle a 1800W grill and the company is shady as heck. I hope this helps anyone trying to decide whether to buy from them or having an issue getting support.

A fine transformer
This unit does exactly what you need with little compromise or fuss. Of course, your success depends on selecting the appropriate voltage to meet the requirements of your appliance PLUS the ability to handle the surge drawn upon startup. Two to three times the rated voltage is generally recommended. I bought this unit primarily to run the Arzum Mirra Turkish-Greek coffee pot which draws 850W. (http://www.amazon.com/Quality-Renowned-Turkish-Electric-Stainless/dp/B00GO45NDA/ref=sr_1_2?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1400703963&sr=1-2)For the past month, the unit has worked perfectly. It handles all the different plugs that European appliances have and even allows you to run 110 appliances at the same time (provided you do not exceed its limits, of course.)As you can see from the specifications it is fairly heavy and large, but I believe that's what you get for this level of performance. It makes no perceptible sound or smell unless you are right up against it, but it is very slight, and I don't feel it is any worse than other appliances emit. You can certainly minimize these potential annoyances by switching off the breaker on the back of the unit when it is not in use.I would not hesitate to recommend this unit.

Great purchase
We moved from Europe to the US a month ago and we brought with us our Thermomix kitchen robot which my parents gave us as a wedding gift and it's been an essential in our kitchen ever since. After moving here we discovered that the technical specs of the machine do not meet the requirements to be used here in the US 110V system, so we found out that a transformer was needed. We ended up buying this one, and honestly it works like a charm. I was a little concerned about some of the reviewers complaining about a "bumming noise" and funny smells but we experienced none of that. Ours is totally silent.

Overall a good purchase
Does what it is supposed to do. I have not pushed the unit, I only use about 700 of the 2000 watts, so I do not know how well it performs close to its limits. Quiet operation. Well finished product. Outlet socket arrangement not suitable for right angle plugs is one criticism I have.Update - item has developed a noisy power output that is creating audio interference on my system - waiting for seller feedback.

Not what expected
There are several issues with this product:1. It is NOT a transformer, it is auto transformer. That means it provides NO electrical isolation2. Auto transformer is wound with ALUMINUM wire, NOT copper. Higher loss, heat, not solderable.3. Wires inside are mismatched, different gauge wire all over the place. What's the point to rate at certain wattage if all wires cannot support it?4. UK 240V socket was misswired, neutral and hot were swapped5. 240V fuse only protects if you are feeding the unit from 240V, does not provide protection for up converted 240V when running on 110V6. Many screws holding the case were stripped and not holding anything.Overall I made it work, even rewired using 4P2T switch to be auto transformer or isolation transformer, but not worth 100 bucks I spent on it. Quality is not what I expected.
