Bought this for a friend as part of a birthday gift. As a professional writer, she often has a sore neck and shoulders from working at her laptop. She said the roller worked great! She chilled it before use and thought the coolness of the metal aided in relieving her muscles. It's also a nice size, so its easy to hold and maneuver. This is a nice item to add to any gift, especially with a spa or wellness theme.

This I got for myself because I sometimes get a stiff neck or soreness from working out. I like that I can just leave this in the freezer and grab it when I need it. The metal ball is so cold and stays cold for quite some time. I found that when it got a bit warm I can roll the ball and it is freezing again. It was also good for a foot injury I had. I was able to just place on the floor and use the ball and roll it around to get it cold again. So much easier and less of a mess than an ice pack. Might be hard to use in certain spots due to it's shape. Overall, I really like this Muscle massager and would recommend and gift this item.

Despite several manufacturer comments that say that the ball doesn't come out, I decided to take a chance and believe the couple of consumer comments that say it did. When I received it, I took it apart and took a picture for you all to see. The ball is round and cold and chilled, it is icy cold. The top of the container isn't smooth, which, even though the ball is smooth, causes friction so that the ball works better outside of it's container. If you want to remove the ball, this one may be for you. If you really want one in a container, you may be able to fine sand/smooth around the edge if you want to give this one a go, otherwise perhaps consider another manufacturer. As for the person who posts as the manufacturer, if you are reading this, perhaps have the company send you one so that you can see it, touch it and take it apart so that you know how to accurately answer questions. If I read your answer and moved on, you would have lost a sale. Who knows how many sales you lost with your inaccuracy. Do better.

My physical therapist recommended this for my tennis elbow. It has also been useful for shoulder pain. It is easy to take a part to place the ball in the freezer and super easy to use.

Worked wonders to help swelling in legs, even my physical therapist was impressed.

Works great! We bought This for my husband’s elbow & it has held up nicely. We only put the ball in the freezer, and it rolls smoothly.

This makes life much easier at the end of a long day, when I'm too tired to stretch or my hands are too sore to massage out tense areas. I appreciate this being steel so I can put it in the fridge - I find the freezer too cold - but it's fine at room temperature as well. I saw some reviews on here and elsewhere online that it "only" stays cold for 15-20 minutes....that's a very long time. This advertises 20 minutes on the package & it certainly delivers! I love how long it stays cold because I would've expected much less. If you run warm and are concerned, it only takes a few minutes for the ball to get chilly again in the freezer. You shouldn't expect to find a longer time unless you use an ice cube. Some of y'all are funny

First few days it worked great, froze the ball once and tried it, no luck as it would keep getting stuck and doesn’t move easily. Has to loosen the cap and still had issues moving the ball smoothly. Beware if you are hairy, the hair get pulled and can hurt at times.
