As expected

Just what I was expecting.

I did not really know what to expect when I bought this. I have bought inexpensive articles written by LBSC and found some for free. All of those had more detailed drawings. This book does have some good articles and some good drawings but without the actual plans, which I believe may be available from Reeve's, one would not have sufficient information to build the "Virginia" at least not without a good bit of improvising. And if you are already that knowledgeable about building locomotives, then you will definitely not need this expensive and very small book. There are much better books with complete plans out there including works by Hiraoka or a book by Edward C. Hume III, or one by Joseph F. Nelson or other books.I liked this book but it was $50, a ridiculous price compared to similar works.
