If you're considering this rug versus natural sisal, here's our take: we grew tired of replacing the easy-to-stain, impossible-to-clean sisal rug in a sun room that's frequently used to serve food and beverages at parties, where it gets regularly spilled-on, This rug is significantly thinner, with a less-attractive weave than the sisal rugs we've had previously, but it's also softer underfoot and easy to clean. Our 8x10 size sits on ceramic tile without a pad underneath; furniture holds it in place. Smaller sizes or rugs not held down by furniture would need a pad to avoid slipping. We feel like we've traded some attractiveness for this rug's increased practicality.

I absolutely love this rug and plan on buying another one for our daughter's playroom. We bought a house a few months ago and have been buying things here and there to make it a home. I had been in search of a rug for a few months but didn't like any of the patterns because they clashed with what we had, so I decided on going with a solid color. I had reservations of buying something online without seeing it in person, but I'm glad I did trust the reviews. Definitely standing up to a 3 year old, husband, and 60 lb dog for the last couple weeks. Does not need a rug pad underneath because it's thick enough to offer the right amount of cushion and feels soft underfoot. We have this in our bedroom and it ties everything together perfectly. Vacuums well.

So good! I used it to cover the floor in my dining area. Its an old house that used to have a fireplace or stove. Half the floor was wood, the other half rock. SUPER STAIN RESISTANT AND EASY TO CLEAN! It can handle anything my pets do to it, or whatever food lands on it from the table. It does have a bit of a factory smell when you first get it but it goes away quick. It also flattens out almost immediately. Surprisingly easy to handle and move with just one person.

I needed a replacement rug for my dining room area. The size rug that I had been looking for was a 6 x 8, not an easy size to find much less find a nice looking rug. I had all but giving up hope when I ran across this rug on this web site. They had the exact size that I had been looking for and the choice of colors was great. I chose the brown with chocolate trim. Let me just say, that I REALLY like this rug. I unrolled this rug, placed it on the floor, and within a couple of hours it was laying flat with no problems at all. Looks really great and feels great on your bare feet. If I ever need another rug, this is the place that I would purchase from.

I rarely post a review, but felt compelled to write that this is the best money spent on a floor covering. I loved my original dining room sisal, but ridiculous to have with pets as is "impossible to clean/restore" from even a single accident. After hours of searching for a replacement, I decided to try this one, knowing it could be returned. It's perfect, actually much softer feel than sisal but looks like the original sisal. Excellent recovery from post pet accident cleanup! It recently went through the "fire" with a very sick puppy. (skip using OxyClean to avoid discoloration, light use of laundry soap was just fine).

This rug is beautiful, looks great and stays in place. I got because I could afford it and there were other reviews that said it held up to dogs about the same as I have. I do not agree, I have a 60lb dog who likes to get the zoomies and after just two times we had loops pulled (his nails are not sharp either, they are short and rounded). Now after more zoomies we have lots and lots of loops pulled up. Soooo, if you have a dog that is pretty lax then this rug will fit the bill and look beautiful. We had also gotten a runner for our halllway and that is doing great but no zoomies or anything other than calm walking happens there. Thus, this rug isn’t a great choice for dogs to run across or cats that like to scratch into the rugs (ours does not but based on what we’ve experienced I would say that cats would do the same thing to it).

Best purchase ever! I love this rug, it’s perfect for my entrance and surprisingly it’s very easy to clean especially with three young boys who track everything from the outside. It’s thin so it works when opening the front door, but it’s comfortable enough for bare feet. Will buy another one for kids room soon.

I have to admit, I was skeptical about this rug. Granted I’ve only had it for months now, but so far I love it. I’m in dog rescue so there are a lot of mutts coming through this house. This rug doesn’t show dirt or hair easily, it’s easy to clean, and so far has held up very well!

I ordered the 9*12 in Chocolate for my patio. Loved it so much i ordered the 4*6 for the bbq area. Turned out to be too small, put that one on the front porch. Looks beautiful there. People take their boots off before stepping on it 'cause it looks so good. Bought the 6*8 for the BBQ area. Looks great there. Happy with the purchase. It feels very good on my bare feet. Only time will tell how long it will last with Canadian weather.

I would give this a higher rating if it were not for the strong latex smell that takes a while to dissipate.If you are putting the rug in a large open area it is fine, for a closed space / small room, be prepared for the smell for a while.I am told by the manufacturer that it is not a harmful chemical so that is reassuring.

Love this rug, it is well made, the knots on the rug are tight, it is great for high-traffic areas as well as for bedroom or office. I have mine in my office and love it! The colour is nice, goes with my decor, and you can't see lint on it very easily, so I don't feel the need to vacuum it everyday. Easy to maintain, good product for value. Also came delivered in a tightly sealed plastic covering. Easy to undo.

The rug itself is fine but it is difficult to get the corners to lie completely flat resulting in a few near tripping problems. We tried the vendors recommendations (put heavy books or furniture to provide some compression) which made an improvement but it is not completely satisfactory. In my opinion the design flawed. The edging overlaps on the corners making it double thickness there. If it was mitered so as to be close to a single thickness then I believe it would like flat.

This is a durable rug that still looks attractive. We needed something that would stand up to dogs and cats - so far there have been no pulled fibres or frayed edges and it is getting a lot of traffic. Very happy with this purchase. Will likely buy another for our bedroom.
