Dremel9906 Tungsten Carbide Cutter

They don’t last very long an sometimes they r dull right of the start of caving a rolling Pin or a picture window carving.

Perfect little tool

I needed a way to cut a solid steel rod in half and this did the trick.

Not bad for the price

I was adding some new gear to the outside of my Jeep and ended up with two pieces of heavy gauge steel pieces from two different accessories that overlapped each other and didn't mate up properly on one side. Nothing huge, but enough that a couple of bolts weren't quite lining up where they needed to go. A few rounds of loosening and tightening the other bolts involved and trying some "percussive persuasion" didn't change the situation, so I decided to try extending the recalcitrant bolt slots a little bit. Tried a set of metal files I had without much luck - they were too fine and only removed an infinitesimal amount of metal each stroke - so I decided to see if Dremel had something that could speed things up. Not something I'd use to remove serious amounts of metal, at least not from the heavy-gauge stuff I was dealing with, but for extending the slots the extra 1/4 inch or so that they needed, the 9904 cutter got things done quickly and with good control. Hindsight being 20/20, if I had to do this over again I'd wear some light work gloves or even just latex ones since the metal comes off in a spray of small particles that took repeated washings to get off my hands afterwards. Ah well, live and learn.

I used it to widen a hole on tempered steel. Works great.

This with a dremel ate through a hardened steel tap that had broken off in the hole and came out unscathed.I bought three and needed only one.

Allowed me to "drill" out a sheared-off M6 bolt and enlarger the hole for a threaded repair insert.Cleared through the steel bolt and aluminum casing with minimal effort. Will buy it again when this one dulls out.

I snapped a transmission pan bolt. Tried to drill a hole but didn't work. Tried a couple of heavy duty bits but no go...Finally tried this bit + dremel and it ate the snapped bolt for breakfast.Rethreaded the hole and issue was solved.

Regrese el artículo, porque se notaba que había sido abierto, y resellado, la etiqueta de dremel la blanca que ponen estaba despegada hacia un lado, y el plastico del empaque se veía irregular de un lado, como que fue resellado por eso la regrese, no me gusta el engaño si desde el inicio explicaran que esta nuevo pero resellado podría haber accedido pero esto me parecía un engaño y eso molesta.

le cuestan maderas muy duras y las quema

ステンレスが簡単に削れます。穴径を広げたいときに使用しています。回転数を落とすと跳ねて使いづらかった気がします。自転車パーツ、PCケースも簡単に加工出来ました。持っているビットの中で一番出番が多い気がします。
