Perfect, easy yeast for bread makers.....
Fermipan | Dried Yeast | 2 x 500gI have been making bread for about 8 years and have tried lots of different yeasts. This red bag Fermipan yeast has worked best for me.It arrives promptly, vacuum packed and with around 2 years to use it.It is an instant dried yeast so I just add the granules to the dry ingredients in my bowl when I make my bread. No need to mix it in advance, just use it dry.I open one bag and decant it into 2 screw top jars.In the summer I refrigerate it because our house gets very warm in the summer, sometimes!(It might be unnecessary to refrigerate it in the summer but I do it just in case.)Once the weather is cooler, I store it in my food cupboard and it has never gone off.I really recommend it - delivered by Amazon, freshly vacuum packed and makes reliable bread.Perfect for me.

Pleasantly tasting and efficient
It smells and tastes very pleasant, works very well and is always successful no matter the weather (dampness or dry weather). Obviously the whole baking process takes time, requiring patience and understanding when it is necessary to let the dough rise. With a bit of practice, ignoring some confusing information in online videos and articles, one can get nearly professional results even in your old home oven!

So far so good, first time use
Made two loaves using 1kg white spelt flour. The packaging appears to be made of foil and when cut across its the year looking like little grains of sand. It's not self deal packet, so the contents were placed on an airtight jar in cupboard.Expires 4/27.There is no instructions re: amount to use.It says to add after mixing, however I added the yeast with the dry ingredients before adding liquid.I used 1 tablespoon.of the yeast, assuming it's equivalent to 2 teaspoons. The dough rose more than double with nots of bubbles on top in under 1 hr.( I usually place in the room, using the ambient temperature even in unheated room in winter, the dough rises but slower, even overnight). The pictures show progress afer rising to baked product. Not sure whether the quick rise was due to it being hot weather today or whether I used too much yeast. The ( tiny) writing on box states instant. For the 2nd riding stage it also tose in under an hour.I normally use thec7g sachets from the supermarket and this is more cost effective.Usually the dough rises slower with the sachet yeasts.Tried this in light of the good reviews.ConclusionNot tasted the bread, will update..So far so good.Real test will also be jow it hopes in winter, unheated room.
