Best Karambit for the price you will ever find!!!
WOW!!! Awesome knife for the price!! There are knives with the same feature that run for around $300! Emerson and Fox's karambit. Some reviewers were confused and thought the knife is for Lefty's. It's not! The burr poking out from the blade catches your pocket as you pull it out for a lightning quick opening!! It's Awesome! I can have the knife in hand ready to go in under a second! It's amazing!! You will never find a better deal for the price!!! The knife is really good quality with a sharp blade right out of the box! The loop is about 2 1/2 cm on the inside. I have pretty big hands, and my index finger fits in the loop easily. I prefer to use my karambits with the blade down. That's how I was taught and I much prefer it to the traditional way of holding the knife blade up. Anyway, great knife! Will never ever beat the price especially since it is good quality as well!! Love this knife! Also, I am posting pics since there is only one view of this knife when you look at it.Please let me know if this was helpful! Just press YES!-Reese L.

Can be deployed with only your left hand.
Very pleased! This knife can be deployed with only your left hand. The pocket clip and pocket wave along with the spring assist and finger loop makes this very easy. Finger loop great for pulling knife out of pocket as well as securing with index finger through loop so as not to drop. Blade will be in a down position. With just a little bit of practice you should be able to get this out of your pocket with blade extended smoothly. You could easily spend much more money on knife like this. I'm glad I didn't. Seems to be made well enough. Opens smoothly. As long as it's kept sharp, should be fine. I bought this for something along the lines of “emergency preparedness.” Likely I'll never need to use it but it's there if I do. It's all about being prepared.

Read this if youre right handed
I'm guessing most of us are right handed so i dunno why this was not made to have a clip on the other side.So my solution was to get an inside the belt concealed carry magazine holster made of neoprene. Got a single stack medium size and placed it on the right side of the waist inside my jeans. It fits perfect and am able to deploy with my right hand.Otherwise, it feels great in my hand when handling it. One thing i like is to be able to hold it in the closed position and use it for non deadly hammer fisting or to use the ring for punching before you flick the blade out. Most folding karambits are to bulky for that use.

Worth At Least 3 Times The Price
I needed a new self-defense knife after hearing about some bad happenings in my area, so I thought I'd give this one a try. I used to own a Fox 479 karambit, but this isn't even that big of a step down. It's a standard size, but the proportions are perfect. The blade is big enough to produce results and not leave you feeling defenseless, but not so big as to be overkill or cumbersome. It amazingly feels more solid than that Fox 479 and definitely lighter than its equivalents. The wave feature lets you deploy from the pocket very well and the spring assist works smoothly. The cutting edge isn't insanely sharp by default, but the point makes up for it several times. The black blade and body, along with its smaller size makes for a very concealable tool. It also looks very close to a Fox 599; no outrageous designs here. Very utilitarian and looks great doing so.My only issues are these two: when deployed quickly or using the spring assist, the locking mechanism is very tough to unlock and fold in the blade. It only seems to fold properly when the blade is opened gently. Also, the clip is indeed on the left-hander side, or if you draw blade-up. If you want to deploy blade-down in your right pocket, you're gonna have to do with putting the knife completely in your pocket. The latter is not as big of a problem as I thought, and I'm sure it won't be a big deal for you either. Those issues are the only things that stop me from giving that 5th star.

Quality isn't really there.....
This knife's locking mechanism does not always engage, even when fully open. The blade is very dull, but easily sharpened (soft steel, doesn't hold an edge very long). The pocket clip is oriented properly to allow for a reverse grip open from the pocket while engaging the "wave" on the back of the blade. Blade itself has an uneven grind, and has a slight amount of wobble in the handle (tightening did not help).

Good knife with Clip on right way round.
Very good knife for the price. The clip is in the correct way and you can work out the deployment from right and left pocket. I tried both and it is good and possible. I love it and bough another 2.Excellent for the price. THE ONLY reasonable price knife that can be deployed out of pocket. Your real alternative to this knife is Emerson or Fox which will cost you over $150 if not more.Go for this knife. You will not regret the purchase. I love mine.

Buyer beware...
Cool little knife for the price.... BUT The clip is on the wrong side for a Emerson Wave Karambit, but I knew that when I bought it from the other reviews...The liner lock is extremely iffy however, it has failed to lock up properly on me many of times. I do not trust it to carry it at all. Beware and be careful...

Doesn't lock all the time when using wave system it's hit or miss with many misses which really SUCKS plus it can cut you if it closes when it doesnt lock which also really SUCKS. It also can open in pocket when bumped which also SUCKS I stabbed and cut through a couple pants cause of this. It is possible to to draw with right hand in reverse grip with blade pointed down just gotta draw it from hole closes to your body comes out in hook grip then spin blade into reverse grip. Blade isn't very sharp but i did sharpen razor sharp myself. Just be aware it has flaws but price is really cheap compared to a fox.
