Why are the reviews of this item about "Thermal Paste"?

Hi I couldn’t find any reviews but it’s thermal heat sink compound so it would do the job.

can you apply this to the CPU on a Dryatek router, as i have to re-fix the heatsink on a 2865?

I have only used this on pc CPUs and PS4, however I would assume it can be used between any similar CPU/heatsink set up, especially if existing thermal paste is present when disassembling. This paste is high quality and I definitely recommend it.
