Leave it outdoors/overnight, to make the smell of rubber go away.
What I like about this respirator is the filters is on the sides. Not like my old one, filters on the middle.First time I wear this mask made me nauseous, because of the strong smell of rubber. I left it overnight at the back porch, following morning. Smell was lessen by 90%.I suggest, leave it outdoors overnight/couple of days, to make the strong smell of rubber away.Mask has good air circulation.Lens doesn’t fog, even when Im breathing heavy. It fits well on my big face and its comfortable.Filter works well, I can’t smell the zink that we spray at my job.The rubber straps can also be detached from the mask. Its optional, good if you only want to use it for a few min.The plastic where the rubber straps is attached sometimes scratches my face when I’m in a hurry wearing it. Its pretty annoying!!Filter replacement varies depending on usage. I bought an extra pair of filters, Better safe than sorry.I saw some similar/same mask that looks like this at amazon, that has a higher price tag +$20.00 more to be exact. Thats makes this cheaper. I guess price is reasonable.Mask works well, I would definitely recommend it.
