It is a good study guide for taking the CST, but you will need to find other resources to help pass the exam. I would also recommend BEC deconstructing the NYSTCE as a way to prepare for the type of questions you will face in the exam. If you are a Special Ed. major or have taken some classes this will be a good way to refresh your memory and may give you some new information, but do not rely on it entirely.

Very helpful. On target information. Only used this book to study and students with disabilities practice test one and two. Passed exam on the first try even though I've been out of school for years and years.

I found this book helpful in reviewing for my upcoming certification test. It had a sample test and essay which was very useful.

I bought it, study and pass the test. I recommende to buy it if u want to be ready for the test. Most of the questions r not in the test but the book give u the practice that u need for the test.

I am so disappointed by this book. While I appreciate the effort it took to write it (and the intention!), I simply can't get passed the innumerable typos and grammatical errors. I eventually stopped reading the book for the content and instead highlighted every error I came across. I am so annoyed that the people who publish this book are the same people who determine our ability to teach. Unacceptable.
