Does the flat foot come off to change out for a wheel if you want?

No it does not but they are very well make and worth every penny

May I ask what is the compressed height?

Vicky I measured from the very bottom of the jack to the very top of the jack (the part above the jack handle) and it measured 26 1/2 inches. I hope that helps.

The product description says it comes with mounting hardware. I ordered 4 units and no hardware was included. How does one mount this product?

My unit came with a mounting plate that must be bolted or welded to trailer. The jack is then attached with a snap ring. It was a close enough fit to the one I already had that I just replaced the new jack on the existing mounting plate.
