Better than others but still not the best
Ah, the better mouse trap--these actually are a bit better than the wooden ones and easy to carry and take mice out. However, they do not set very easily--the little hook will not catch properly and very scary trying to set them as they snap back on you. If they could get this trap with a setting mechanism that isn't so hard to catch--they'd have the perfect mouse trap.

Best traps ever
My old traps in this style(yellow trap closure) were ok with some being defective. These are better, as none were defective. Easy to use and set. I caught the largest mouse ever and he/she didn’t escape.

Finally the Better Mouse Trap
These are the best traps out there! Very effective and efficient, mice don't get away from these, I had the old style wooden traps that the mice would clean the peanut butter off and wait until I re-baited it and then come back for more! I sat one night and had a little you know what sit on the trap and clean it off while looking at me and then take off when he had cleaned it all off, needless to say that was the last straw! I looked at a ton of "Traps" here on Amazon and settled on these from the reviews and concept. I will just say that there is no more Mouse problem, the design of and location of the bait reservoir makes it virtually impossible for them to clean it out let alone get full! Great value and price well worth the cost which is minimal considering the alternative and it is so easy to dispose of the the former pest! One Million Stars for these!!!

Working great for me.
I bought these mouse traps to replace the plastic live traps that I used in my basement. The mice actually chewed holes in the plastic. So, sorry mice, I tried to use the live traps.I read some of the other reviews that said the traps wouldn't trip even when thrown against the wall. I tested them before I baited them and the all tripped just fine. There's a little cup where the paint goes. I used peanut butter for my bait. I set all 6 traps in the basement. In the morning there were 2 tripped traps and two dead mice. No trips 8n the week since then. I will probably move them to different areas in the basement. They work just fine for me!

No free rent at his house!
This are so easy to use. Drop the bait in the little receptacle, push the silver handle down until it locks and invite them in!I caught 3 in 2 days. I live by a field and they think they can come in the house and can have free room and board in air conditioned luxury. Wrong! The traps are so easy that a nearly blind old lady can set them and then unload them without fear of getting your fingers trapped. Just push the silver handle down again and they fall out. I do use disposable gloves for health's sake. Then reset and wait for the SNA!

Have not caught a rodent yet!
These are an interesting design for a mouse trap. Pretty ingenious! However, they have not worked very well for me. I have yet to catch anything even using many different baits including nuts, peanut butter, salami, and dog food. They keep stealing the bait. I don’t know how. I even used a hot glue gun to glue the bait in the cup. Sometimes the traps are tripped and other times not tripped. Bait gone every time!

Decent trap for the money
I bought the traps for my camper to keep the mice at Bay. I hook a few up at home and have cought some with them. They have a decent amount of pressure on them as the mouse gets smacked pretty good. Easy to set. I like them
