Necessary Tool after Knee Surgery
Before my husband's knee surgery, I purchased both the typical aluminum walker for use around the house and the Carex Hemi walker for the bathroom. Both are important tools for different reasons. He uses the Carex Hemi walker in the bathroom and in the shower. It is smaller and lightweight and can be used for support on one side. He places the walker in front of him and uses the lower handle on the Hemi for support when getting up and down. It's also easy to move the Hemi inside the shower for stability. That said, he had to learn how to position his hands for balance so that he didn't fall to one side. When used properly and as intended, this walker is perfect.

One Handed Walker for Seniors or anyone who had injured one arm
Having one injured arm, crutches would not work well. The hemi walker allowed sturdy support for walking.

Stable base
Have not used yet but it is more stable than either a standard cane and the four point cane

Very safe and easier to put in car than a walker
During rehabilitation and after, I was more stable than using a cane and muncher to put in a car than a walker and wheelchair
