I bought this to be able to do exercise workout videos (Insanity) in my basement or outside and so far it has performed very well. It has been great to bring it out on the patio on nice days and work out in the fresh air, and I don't have to plug it in. The only minor shortcoming is that the sound isn't very loud, and of course the screen is small for viewing from ten feed away while I jump around, but it is sufficient to know what move to do next, which is really all I need.It is very light and fairly small, so I was able to pack it for business trips to do workouts in the hotel room before starting the day.My only complaint is that the remote really needs to be pointed directly at the sensor to register, but that isn't a big deal. Battery life seems good enough. I charge it every 3-4 hours and have never run out. Overall I am very happy I ordered this and given me the ability get out of my living room for workouts.

First of all the reason we bought this was to bring along camping so my nephew could watch his dvds! We didn’t want to bring the iPad incase he dropped it or got it wet or lost it, we wanted something less expensive!We didn’t use until our camping trip last weekend and it was a life saver!! A 2 year old doesn’t have much of an attention span for much so he would get restless easily especially outdoors where there wasn’t much for him to do... on one of his tired fussy moments (crying of course) I put his favorite cars movie on and it occupied him till he fell asleep!! Next day same thing once he got tired we popped in his movie and it put him to sleep. Did that 3 days in a row and if it wasn’t for this DVD player we probably would’ve left and went home early!The quality is nice, sound is loud enough for him to hear at a good distance, picture quality looked ok although I was only peeking at it here and there but seemed pretty decent! Price was fair and comparable to others we’ve shopped around for!1 full charge last the 2 days of him watching here and there, we charged it fully again for the 3rd day of camping and for the ride home! Now that we’re home he brings it to me when he’s tired as if he’s saying I want to sleep please put my movie on... so for what it’s worth this DVD player has made my life a lil less stressful! We’re all outdoors family and always on the go, this will come with us on every outing from now on. I’m hoping it last awhile or at least till he’s out of this cartoon movie phase which could be a year or two!!I would recommend this as a good DVD player, I don’t honestly mind him watching movies as often as he would like, it’s better than playing on iPads or devices as I’ve seen other kids do...I haven’t looked into what kind of warranty there is but hopefully it’s a good one...

We purchased a Sunpin portable DVD player for traveling. First one that came in had an issue with one of the headphone jacks (it wouldn't play). I contacted Sunpin and they sent a replacement right away. With the fully working unit, we gave it a go and it works quite well. It's nice that you can have two headphones in at the same time. It has great picture quality for a small screen and didn't have any issues with skipping with movement. Only issue is as others have noted, the volume of sound has a limit. You have to keep it on max of 20 to hear the sound through the headphones. Using the external speakers, you can hear it very clearly. Overall, it's a nice unit for the money and their customer service backs up the product.

I purchased this dvd player for my 8 month old twin boys for our family vacation to Orlando. I love the fact that the player came with its own protective holder. It definitely made it easy when hooking it up on the seat. I love that it can run off of the battery for a few hours without being plugged up. Also, the remote came in handy for my husband and I for playing the boys movies especially when the older kids were sleeping. Definitely a good purchase. I highly recommend.

Works flawlessly. Minus half a star because the sound is not quite loud enough. And minus a half star because the seller refuses to honour the 'Free Headphones' coupon in the package.We use ours in the kitchen. Pictured is the player on a custom wood counter stand with mounted Logitech speaker plugged into the player's 3.5mm headphone jack. That external speaker is plenty loud enough for the intended use.We don't use it on battery power so can't comment on that. It would be nice if the infrared remote receiver was on both the front and back of the unit because as seen in the photo we use ours with the screen turned 180 degrees to the back. For us its awkward to reach around and use the buttons and the remote won't work at all with the way we've oriented the unit.I guess I have lots of quibbles but this is the third brand we've tried and the first that actually plays all DVDs consistently.
