Ball head fully met expectations
Ball head fully met expectations; it held the camera very securely - could saftly walk with the tripod with the camera locked in place. was easy to adjust, with a time and coarse adjustment capability and scanned smppthly. Nice small size and light weight,

Great little head at a great price.
These little Sirui Ballheads are top price / performance leaders.Including the fully Arca compatible clamp and plate makes them even more price friendly. This head works well with all my other plates (Wimberley, RRS, Graf, and some others)It is on my midsized tripod (an old aluminum Manfrotto) and handles my 5D with large lenses just fine.

Couldn't be happier.
Was time to upgrade from my cheapo tripod (Dolica) and I wanted more fine control and sturdiness. This Sirui ballhead delivered on both. It's very well constructed, with excellent build quality. The quick release mechanism is very cleverly designed.I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get a sturdy tripod ball head.

Great tripod head
This tripod head is the best I have ever owned. My Nikon D7000 with telephoto lens is rock solid in any position. In shooting in portrait mode camera slides easily into notch.Panning is very fluid and degree marks are easy to see. The two levels are very helpful.I would highly recommend this head.

OK, but definitely not great
This was my first ball head purchase, and I have to say that you definitely get what you pay for. Based on reading reviews at various photography vendors and photo-enthusiast websites, and comparing price and specs, I decided to give this ball head a try, but ultimately ended up returning it. Here are the reasons for my rating: This head is certainly not bottom of the barrel, as you can find ball heads for as little as $50-75, and this ball head is definitely one step up from that, at the $100-$125 level. But ultimately I have to be happy with my purchase, within the budget that I can afford, and feel like I got the most possible value for my money. Sitting atop my truly awesome Induro tripod legs, this head was obviously at least one size too small for the legs that I had purchased. The base was just too narrow, so I couldn't lock it to the Induro legs, and the smoothness of the ball head motion was OK but definitely not great, especially with my rig mounted on the head, it felt very floppy and top heavy, and I don't have a very heavy rig at the moment. The build quality is stylish, but definitely not rugged, so the prospect of adding additional weight to this already topheavy-feeling rig convinced me that I needed to bite the bullet, and invest a little more money in a better, heavy-duty ball head, which ended up being the Induro BHM2 (see my review of that for details and comparison).

ball head
it can hold a large DSLR with a large lens.very sturdyknobs need a bit of work, they need more grip as they seam to stick.the pan needs some work as it is not completely smooth.

Quality is very impressive
I am very hard to impress but Sirui will be the brand I buy from now on. This particular model is a bit heavy for a monopod but it provides double duty with a tripod as well. Extremely well machined and finished. Will not slip with my Nikon dslr and variety of lenses.

Well made but not quite perfect in small but important ways.
This is a solid, well oiled bit of machinery. It does what it needs to do with efficiency. I think I've seen dozens of better heads, many bigger and heavier. But this was perfect for travelling. The large knob makes sense for tightening the main ball action. The two smaller knobs below (one for pan, one for adjusting tension on the ball) are far to easy to confuse (same size, almost same placement) and so I was constantly turning the wrong one. Big problem. The quick release mechanism is fine, but if you have that knob too tight you can't slide the bracket in, and it takes awhile to check that if you keep fumbling. So, in all, well made, with some simple design tweaks needed to make it much better in the field.

Buenos materiales

A little pricey but worth it!
The Sirui G-20x ball head is a very sturdy little thing. Not too heavy but the locking knobs tighten down easily and provide a very stable platform for your camera. I use a Mirrorless camera on mine but I'm very sure that this model is capable of holding almost all DSLRs with a substantial lens attached. As the head is also fairly light I intend to use it on my travel tripod legs for the best middleground between durability and portability. The finish and general craftmenship of this product is fantastic. Sirui are really living up to their name of making good quality products at a more reasonable price point. I bought a cheaper Chinese ball head before and had to send it back before i ever used it because the bubble level was glued down wrong and gave false readings. This is why people always say 'Buy nice or buy twice'.The Arca swiss compatible plate on the top is strong and easy to attach the camera to. All the locking/panning knobs are all metal construction and have a nice amount of resistance to them.I bought this particular head as I needed an accurate bubble level for Property Photography, Arca swiss compatible, (as I have grip base plates attached to both my cameras), and with a separate panning lock. After careful research and costing this was the only head that provided all of these things at a reasonable price. The second I took it out of the box I knew I had made the right decision for me.P.S The G-10x is as well built and would have served me as well but for an extra £5 the G-20x is slightly heavier duty and gives me even more confidence with long exposures.
