I've used ready-mixed microdermabrasion scrubs before, but I've never been happy having to dunk my fingers into the mixture. These crystals seemed like an ideal alternative, especially as I could use them with one of my existing cleansers.First impression was that the tub is smaller than it appears in the pictures. But after using a tiny amount mixed in to my cleanser, and feeling the difference in my skin, I realised that this is going to last for ages - and no worrying about the mixture going off.The crystals look very fine, but you can definitely feel the scrubbing effect when you use them, without feeling like you're ripping your skin to pieces. Because I used a gentle, creamy cleanser, my skin didn't feel taut or dry after use. I think I will try them with some almond oil next, as another reviewer suggested, because I've always found oils to be the best way to 'dissolve' dead skin, and I have issues with dead skin blocking my pores.This is an excellent value product that will last for ages, won't go off, and smooths your skin without leaving you feeling sandblasted. I'm looking forward to seeing what effect it will have long term.

This product is a godsend . Im in my 60s now and my skin tends to be dry but I also have long term ice pick scarring from acne I had years ago. These crystals are top class . I use them with sweet almond oil in a ratio of 1 teaspoon oil to half level teaspoon of crystals . I have mixed it in my hand but I find that mixing it in a small cosmetic tray or similar is better . I apply it in gentle circular motions for 2 minutes only . Then I rinse with warm water until all crystals are gone . I then pat my skin dry and allow it to settle before applying my moisturiser . This jar will last forever as it only takes a small amount twice a week . I am so happy to find this product and it will definately be fitted into my skincare regimen on a regular twice weekly basis as recommended .The actual packaging and swiftness of delivery were spot on .Highly Recommended

Iv been searching my whole life to find a product for my face that works, iv had large under skin spots, blemishes, scabs (I'm a picker), dull, blotches an the rest, my face always has something really noticeable that knocks my confidence. After reading the reviews for this product I decided to give it a go, I mix it with a water gel/cleaner..from the 1st mixture I put on I knew this is it, my face has never felt so smooth, so fresh, even any under the skin spots are completely gone, an iv had them for years...my skin tone looks even with seriously reduced blemishes, I can't believe it..I use this 2/3 times a week, the tub will do my for a very long time..best buy ever

Really lovely and fine crystals, they do a great job at scrubbing away at you dead skin cells. They have the added bonus that you can add then to your fav soap, cream etc i have tried Dermalogica's crystals and these are very similar, not as fine though but a fraction of the cost. The feeling you get when your scrubbing away is quite invigorating it makes you want to just keep going, you get a lovely tingling to the skin.It really does make your skin feel amazing. It is at this point I must give you a word of warning please don't do what I did one day :( and that was to just keep going because I was enjoying a good scrub, you know like you do sometimes when your washing your hair! You CAN'T do it with these you"ll take your face off lol ooo goodness see was i red the new day it was like I had sunburn. You have been warned!!! Don't forget to load up with your lotions and potions after you've microdermabrased!On the down side the little scoop is flat it could do with being like a spoon to make it easier to negotiate crystals from the pot into your hand.The other is the pot isn't pretty. Lets face it if your the sort of person thats going to be buying this then your bothered about how things look. SO why haven't they made the pot look nice?happy scrubbing x

These are very small exfoliators in a powder in a giant pot, i use a gel face wash and add a few finger dabs of this to really smooth out the skin.They do work and no irritations so far, I'd reccomend using it once a week though, twice topsThis tub will last you years.

Getting very dull, bumpy middle aged skin which breaks out in huge spots that take ages to heal. Much worse than when I was a teenager! I’ve used this twice mixed with my usual face wash and I’m excited to see my ‘old’ skin re-emerging! Pores are looking tighter and my face is looking much brighter and even toned. So glad I bought this! I was hiding away because my skin was so awful but I’m confident that this will make a real difference.

Omg love this product. I’m currently on a drug called Roaccotaine for hormonal spots ( I’m 38 so it’s not even funny having spots at this age) and this has massively helped. You’re skin basically gets really dry ( it’s drying out the spots so go figure) but I wasn’t expecting all my pores to dry out so much. My nose started to feel like Brillo pad and even though my skins really sensitive I was desperate for some kind of exfoliant. After reading the reviews I gave this a a go.Popped a little into my cleanser and gently rubbed over my nose and face. 2 uses and my skin is so soft and the pores have closed. IN LOVE!!!!!
