I bought this stool to use with my standing desk when I needed a rest. I agree - this is the correct height for a standing desk stool.Lack of wheels is actually a plus. When you are sitting on a stool, your feet can't touch the floor. Because of this, you can't move and reposition the stool like you do a regular office chair. So, you want a stool to stay put. I've had a stool with wheels before, and it's a pain to be inadvertently rolling around all day. No wheels: good.Be warned: the seat on this stool is not very wide. I took the back off, and which allows me to sit more on my thighs than on my ass. If you have a particularly big ass, then I don't know if this stool is for you. It might feel like a large, round bicycle saddle.You might look at chair style stools.Although I knew that this was not going to be a “comfy” stool, I was still a tad surprised at how much it needed after-market cushioning. (The built-in cushion is a joke.) I later bought the Deauville 13 in. Round Backless Bar Stool Seat Cushion for it, which helps a lot. It would be nice if you could somehow get a stool sample prior to purchasing, so you could see how it feels, but I don't think that's realistic.

So far I love this product, it is the perfect height to use in my classroom. So far is very sturdy. I ordered several at one time and we did have to take one to get one of the holes re-drilled, but it works great and haven't had any other issues.

I wanted a really tall stool for work. Turned out 31-39" was actually too tall for me, but they come with stoppers to just have the stock legs, for which it is the perfect height. I might like the ring on the legs to be a tad bit lower for better straightening of my lower back. But this has saved me on long days working at a bar height counter.

I love this fully adjustable chair! My desk is very very high, and this was one of the very few chairs that I could find that would adjust to the height of my desk of at least 35”. So happy I found it!
