Fantastic little tool for holding your projector. This was a good buy.

I bought this to use as a mounting for a fixed video camera rather than a projectors as other reviewers have. For this use it works OK, the quality is not great but it is at least metal and the resulting mount is stable enough. The screw thread into the camera does not rotate which makes taking it on and off a bit awkward but it does have a locking nut to keep it in place. Recommended for light-duty use but must have cost a tenth of the price to make!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It had a fundamental design flaw in that there is no retention feature when loosening the nut to adjust it. Hence, if you loosen it too much (about 2 turns in total) your precious projector will fall from the ceiling and smash. The low cost is just not worth the risk...

It's called a security camera mount, but shows a projector in the literature, so I thought it would be ok. Our projector weighs 1.2kg, which is a smaller LCD one, and this mount is "ok". It struggles with the weight of the projector, even with the adjuster as tight as possible. You have to set the projector beyond where you want it to be, tighten and then let go to let the mount relax under gravity to out the projector in the correct position. It's guess work.I am sure it will be fine as a camera mount, but not recommended for a projector as shown in the sales literature.

I returned the projector but when was thinking about mounting it fit well in the screw and it was capable of holding it it's well built.

Easy to assemble great value for money

I got this a month ago. It really does it’s job however it feels cheap and it doesn’t feel super strong, like. For this cash is good enough honestly.

llego en una bolsita de plastico bastante pequeña, de ahi su precio, no tiene ninguna parafernalia. Funciona perfectamente para su cometido y esta bastante bien para lo que me ha costado. el proyector aguanta bien y no se mueve.

Lo compre para usarlo con nuestro proyector que es bastante pequeñito, por lo que no tendría que tener problemas en mantenerlo sujeto. Pues al principio iba muy bien, pero una semana después el proyector se da la vuelta. Al final tenemos el proyector del revés, y como podemos nos la ingeniamos para poner la imagen recta.

No llego completo falto soporte horizontal del proyecto,bolsa del contenido abierta

Parece un poco frágil, no un producto de calidad, pero si lo instalas con cuidado, cumple bien con su función. Vale el precio que se paga.
