Uncomfortable and don't hold charge
Having read the reviews for these I was hopeful that these would replace my longtime bluetooth earphones. Unfortunately from the moment I tried them on I knew they weren't going to cut it. The actual conducting element is uncomfortable to wear and made my head sore after 20 mins of wearing them. If I loosened the fit then the sound didn't conduct correctly. The final straw happened on the second charge when the battery went from full to flat in 30 mins which seems to be consistent with other reviews. Due to my bad experience with these I've ended up going back to the old overear earphones style and ordered a replacement in that style. Wouldn't try any bone conduction headphones again sadly. Also, the seller emailed a standard email post order and when I replied with my concerns I received no response at all which was discouraging.

A really, really good design ruined by really, really bad audio quality
I have owned several bone conduction headphones and comparing them to the others I've tried, which are all of a very similar design, these stand out. The physical design of these is just great. The ability to fold is great, the adjustable ear pieces is inspired and truly useful. They sit will (on my head) they hold in place really nicely, the buttons are easy to feel for and press. I love the ability to use them as wired headphones instead of connecting via bluetooth is excellent. They feel like a quality product that will last. It is such an awful shame that they such a great physical design is ruined by the worst audio I've ever heard from any headphones.Having had several bone conduction in the past I know what to expect and what not to expect from the audio. I know that there will be little or no bass response, that is normal, there will be a lot of highs and mids in the sound. These however, sound AWFUL in every way. I sent the first pair back immediately as I was sure there was a fault with the speakers. ANY low or bass sounds just distorted and buzzed. It's like inside they have old-fashioned "loudness" volume control that they have turned up to 11. EVERY single bass sound just distorts and buzzes, distorting music to make it not just bad to listen to, but actively unpleasant. The second pair I've had of these are exactly the same as the first. I'm no audiophile, but even to my ears, the sound quality is just atrocious. Bone conduction audio is never going to be high fidelity it does have limitations- but these just sound terrible. Even the built-in "voice" to confirm pairing distorts when she speaks. It is SUCH a shame as well. because I really like the design of these, far more than any other pair of bone conduction headphones I've bought. If all you ever listen to is Radio 4 and audiobooks, these might be ok (although I doubt it). When there is no low or bass audio they are reasonbly clear and crisp, but if you want to listen to anything else, any music whatsoever the audio quality will just make you angry and frustrated with ever distorted beat you hear.Update: Bought another pair from a different manufacturer for around the same price as these. They don't feel anywhere near as sturdy or good quality as these, but the audio quality is a million times better.

Not chuffin' bad for the price
China born, Yorkshire bred.I've not yet compared against a competitive product, but I'm very happy for the price. I've listened to music and podcasts, and used the phone also - all worked fine. Not as comfortable as padded over-ear headphones, but after 2 weeks, they were fine for a 2.5 hour walk/run. They feel heavy in your hand but are fine when wearing them and they stick to your head like a whippet's gob round a rabbit, so they do not fall off when running. The instructions say 'Headbones should withstand sweating or a heavy rainstorm. Suitable for extreme sports', but I'm told I don't sweat much for a fat lad anyway. They come with a hard foam case.I use them for walking the whippets & cross-country running. It's great to be able to hear what's they're up to and you can hear horses & cattle approaching too. If you turn them up too loud, they shake your teeth out of your head, particularly at 100-150Hz.6-Month updateThe battery still lasts 7 or more hours continuous use.I just found out that they can pair and connect to both my laptop and phone *simultaneously* - but if both devices play sound then the one already playing takes precedent and you don't hear the other. If wearing something with a high collar, the battery pack can chaff & knock the pads off position - this is my main gripe, but not a biggie. If you plug in external jacks, they need to have a small body - some chunky cables didn't fit the casing.Still really pleased with them.12-Month update.765km run with these all year roundStill love them. The rubber bung for the power connector broke off a couple of months ago, but not a big deal.

Almost there
The battery life is not as advertised and the very large block that has to sit behind your head often interferes with clothing etc which is very annoying. Sound quality is very good as is the build quality. Also since you only really want to use these when wearing cycling glasses or skiing glasses the way they fit around the ears makes wearing glasses more difficult but I cant really see a solution to that. Overall they just need a more sleek design.

Perfect for my deaf child
My 9 year old is deaf and wears bi-lateral bone anchored hearing aids on a softband. She has no ear canals and cannot wear convential headphones so was always disturbing the rest of the family. Tried them out through the NDCS free trail service and was so impressed we bought them. Now she can listen to her music and videos in peace while I am watching TV.

Built to last....
These Headbones are excellent! No problems with pairing. Build quality is top notch, audio quality is great and are loud enough to overcome wind noise when cycling. I bought them so i can listen to music whilst riding without blocking my ears from other sounds. They perform this task flawlessly. I am a very happy customer! :o)

Very good, great price.
Bought these as a gift for my partner. Very easy to use. The instruction card is very short, but not much is needed. They work great so far. Read a few bad reports about them, but mostly very good reports. And for the money, they are a great for a first venture into bone conduction headsets.
