Hilarious, and impossible to read without a Yiddish accent
My kindergarteners were laughing out loud! A wonderful addition to any classroom or home library during the holidays or a gingerbread unit.

Yikes! the plot thickens!!
So.......I ordered this to put in my 3 year old Grandaughters easter basket. The first few pages that they allow you to read were cute and funny. I should have done my research! I was reading this to her and at the end an old couple pushes Matzo Ball Boy into a boiling vat of broth and he was never seen again! Speedy quick, I changed it to "The old couple adopted him, The end!!!!" The book has vanished for some reason.

Great Gingerbread Man Spinoff
I was expanding my gingerbread man unit and decided to give this a try. The Jewish religion/culture is completely foreign to my class of predominately-Hispanic children, but the story is fast-paced and they loved it. This story met several objectives for my class.

Delighted to get the last available UK copy in time ...
Delighted to get the last available UK copy in time for Passover! This is a fun, very Jewish take on the Gingerbread Man...with a twist. A cute story for the kids which is kosher l'Pesach but also some humour for grown up readers from the mouth of the 'bubbe' who created the Matzo Ball Boy - and a good pinch of Jewish guilt inducing lines.Enjoyed by a range of kids age 3 to 7 and they can't wait to read it/hear it again!
