Update: tried one out just to be sure, and can confirm it will keep you warm! Took some pictures of my hubby with it wrapped around and then just holding it to give an idea of how big the mylar blankets are, he is 6'2 for reference.These are a great item to have, very versatile and useful! They are lightweight small and very portable. I got these to put in our camping/hiking/emergency bags. They would be great for any of those situations, but I also plan to buy more to put some in each of our cars- they would be perfect to have in case your car breaks down or you get stranded in cold weather. Also useful to have around the house in cold environments, you can layer one between regular blankets to really increase the warmth and heat retention! I've also heard of people duct taping them together to create a mylar tent or putting a hole in the center to turn it into a poncho. Definitely worth it to keep several on hand!

Keep these in my emergency packs and glove boxes. A must have emergency item in the winter months just in case.

These are great for emergencies or just unexpected cold while camping! The added bonus of the package of smaller blankets was an unexpected and greatly appreciated surprise! I keep these blankets in all of our vehicles and in my camping gear at all times. I don’t want to be caught unprepared! The price is amazingly low for what you get in not just quality but in peace of mind!

They aren't going to go back into their original packaging. No emergency foil blanket will. If you plan to use it over and over again put it in a ziplock bag. I got these for their original intent: emergency use in linking and bug-out bags. They are small, light weight, and pack easily. I like the two-tone and ability to get orange side out in a search-and-rescue situation.

This is my second purchase of this product, having given it to friends and family to add to their emergency kits. The product is excellent. I recently tested using their Mylar sheets with my pancho and liner to judge how well it kept me warm on a cold night. It wasn’t 0 C, but I felt quite warm. Also, it arrived quickly both times. I recommend this company and product!

We hope we never need to use these lightweight mylar thermal blankets, but we travel around the country in various seasons and these fall into the category of better safe than sorry. They takes no space to speak of, they are amazingly good at keeping in your body warmth (you won't believe how well for such a thin material) and they won't degrade over years of storage. Swiss Safe has a great selection of these in various colors and even a camouflage pattern if needed.

They came quickly in the mail and are well packaged in nice, small packs. They will easily fit into both my wife's and my car's glove compartments and will make nice stocking stuffers for my grown kid's cars. They seem well-made and its a comfort to know that they are in our family's cars for emergencies.
