I use it in my card making
I make greeting cards for a hobby and my friends and family love them. When I sit down to start a project, I look to see what small pieces I am going to have to make and how many of each I do my small pieces and put each one in a little cup by itself. Leaves in one cup, small flowers in one cup, larger flowers in another. They stay where I want them and when I’m ready to assemble my card, everything is where it should be. I bought two and will probably be buying more.

Great product for price
While looking around for pans, I had many options at hand, same being better deals but not really a fast arrival or mixed review. At the time of ordering I was looking for a cute tin as well, but then realized I really have enough tins (pencil cases chucked in a desk)I wanted to just have enough pans for my daniel smith paints and I have no intention of swapping the colors out of the pans so I was not really concerned if they stain. I can update later to confirm how badly they stain, or how little they stain. *update* I ended up using an empty pot for some water and also rewet my viridians and the staining is not so bad.The set came in its own resealing plastic product bag which was very sturdy, and the ziplock seal was good. At first I was only intending to use 24 of the pans for my basic favorites. So the bag was nice. Instead I used them all by filling another tin with some gouaches I like, and some student dried tube paint, and some full pans of my ancient remains of a set of kuretake. The pans came clean, nothing needed to be filed down, and no weird shapes. It came with two sheets of stick magnets. Unfortunately, there was one more pan than magnet. BUT there were 52 pans in the 48 set sooooooooo. :D whatever right? The magnets stay on pretty well, and I could remove them if I needed to, like for washing but I am sure one too many times and it would need spray adhesive. Also they stay on the metal tin securely but they move around when pushed. They do not move when you do a back and forth gesture with the pan in your hand. You could work holding the tin or likely walk at a brisk "the bus is coming" pace and they stay put.I would buy more of half pans and full pans. I like that they came in the nice baggy, which has a cute design on it too, so its fairly reusable as is. The price is more than fair, and they shipped out to me much faster than gambling on some other seller deals or paying way too much from a reseller or store.

These are great
Arrived promptly and in good condition. Bag does not need to be cut as it is a well-functioning ziplock. Magnetic squares are easy to adhere, and do allow time for a slight nudge in case the first placement is not well centered or sticks out. They are perfectly sized; again no cutting is necessary except to open that packet. Very convenient to assemble. In terms of use for a DIY palette, I tried three configurations:1. About 14 of these pans fit into a standard Altoids size tin.2. It also held 5 pans plus 3 Da Vinci Casaneo travel brushes, sizes 2, 4, and 6.3. It held 10 pans plus the Da Vinci size 6 travel brush (or of course either of the smaller ones). The Da Vinci size 8 did not fit even by itself, nor did the Escoda Versatil. The magnets held the pans in place even when the tin was held sideways or upside down. Not shown here but i even tried upside down once a few of my pans were filled, with lid shut though, and nothing spilled.4. In the Prima Marketing Tins - I could fit 5 turned sideways, but they would need to be magnetized, into the center row. They were just a tad too long to fit with normal orientation. A better way is to use the old Prima Marketing pans, which are smaller, in the middle row. And combine the Mifuner with Prima Marketing on the two pre-made rows. That will fit more. With that mix, you can get 21 half-pans into the box. if you use 100% Mifuner, you will get 19 pans into that box and need magnetic strip on 5 of them.5. In the Meeden 24 tin, I could get 13 in each pre-made row, and 11 turned sideways in the middle, for a total of 37 half pans using all Mifuner pans.Overall, very pleased with this item.UPDATE: I did get several months of use out of the magnets, but they eventually died and I replaced them with snips from a magnetic roll. Still a good product. They were used in extremely hot and extremely rainy conditions, left sideways and even upside down (by accident) in hot car, etc. So I still consider this a convenient and good product. Bought more, and expect to buy again. Maybe 4.5 stars.

Plastic large pallete, and very convenient
I love this, it have multiple spaces to add your favorite paintings. What doesn't convince me too much, is the type of the plastic, it's a cheap material. Overall I like it because it's very useful anyway. I compare it with the normal plastic pallete.

Cost effective BUT adhesive on magnets doesn't hold
They are ordinary half pans and were a good deal when I purchased them. Love that they have the magnets.**update** The adhesive on the magnets does not hold. I have had to go back and glue the magnets to the pans. I am less happy with that problem.

Best palette I have ever purchased.
I love this palette for watercolor. It has several areas to mix paint with differing sizes to use. It is sturdy, easy to clean, and fits well on my table and in my hand. The only drawback that I can see is that it came in a flimsy box, so I have made a bubble wrap holder so it is safe when I travel with it in my art supplies.

Great dry brush palette
I know this is marketed as a watercolor palette but makes a fantastic Dry brush palette to remove extra paint from your brush worth the price

Great little pallet, really functional
Not much to say about this other than for the price you really can’t go wrong with this pallet. It has several mixing areas and more areas for paint than you will need.

Very poor quality
Its made of very low grade plastic. The lid is bent and it won't close.

Great paint palette
Let’s me have lots of colours on the go and be able to mix colours in the larger sections. Highly recommend even for the beginner level.

Great size palette, don't think it's very "portable" though
Although this palette is advertised as portable, I purchased it for home use. The price was right and so was the size. I don't understand however, how you would use this as a portable palette. It doesn't latch closed and the plastic is not as thick or sturdy as you'd want for travelling and portability. It appears a little flimsy but will work fine for at home. It fits my watercolours in nicely and I love the large mixing wells.

Perfect option for watercolor metal palettes. The magnets included were a nice touch. Very pleased.
