Comfortable, wonderful.
Good ol' Wald quality. It was beautifully finished when I received it. These took the place of a pair of Velo Orange Tourist bars (also super nice) upside down on my old Raleigh Sports. Fyi Raleigh's stems were different so I already knew I had to get a new one but that's beside the point. The angles and bends of the bars are what I was paying attention to and since these go forward before sweeping back, unlike the VO bars, it gives a roomier cockpit. They're pretty similar to the standard north road bars you'd get on an old 3-speed from the 1950s and 60s. The bar ends are angled about 45 degrees outwards which is good for me.

Great upright Handlebars
These bars are great for the money, very good quality chrome, comfortable bend, super sturdy, super value...Wald is a great brand for lowbrow bikes...inexpensive and nothing fancy but works GREAT!!!

They look, feel, fit great, and the chrome finish is flawless.
They're well constructed, nicely proportioned, and perfectly fit my needs. They were bargain priced at only $15 and change, and that included fast "free" shipping. To top it all off, they arrived with no damage of any kind.

A very solid handlebar and comfortable to use (though I use it upside down as a dropbar).
My mountain bike had the typical crossbar, which was slightly uncomfortable whenever I went out biking regularly. As the bike is now almost a decade old, I decided to do some upgrades. This touring handlebar fits my basic expectations:1. It angles at forty-five degrees, putting my hands in a more comfortable position.2. It fits standard mountain bike handlebar posts (no special replacements or adapters required).3. When installed as a dropbar (upside-down) it does not interfere with steering (no jamming into to frame or my knees).4. It fits standard mountain bike shifters/brake-levers (again, no special replacements or adapters required). My only disappointment was purely cosmetic. This is chrome, my bike is black. I could not find a black version, so I bought this and just painted it black. Long rides have become more enjoyable. I still have to shake out my hands every once in a while but that is more because I have kept my wrist too stiff for too long.

Hand Numbness Gone
These handlebars are great! Before these, I was using handlebars that were almost flat, and I was having a lot of hand and wrist problems. I started using these bars and the hand numbness went away altogether. The bars look nice, too. They're made of steel instead of aluminum, which makes them heavier, but also makes them better at damping road noise, which is a big cause of hand numbness.Try these before you spend a lot of money on fancy japanese handlebars :)

They are what they are supposed to be.
I know five stars seems high for cheap steel bars, but I'm rating them high because they are what they claim to be, and the fquality is good. If I want aluminum or a fancier bend or more width, I can pay for it, but I put these on an 80s Schwinn 10-speed to see whether I'd like the configuration.Short answer: I like them.Longer answer: I'm 55 and have ridden casually for most of my life, but I'm not what anyone would consider a "serious" cyclist. When I outgrew my banana-seat bike in my youth, I of course bought a used drop-bar ten speed. Other than an old mountain bike I ride in the snow, I have ridden drops since, and I have been okay with them. Lately, though, my shoulders have been getting tired, so I started researching other bars. Inspired by the look, the memories of riding my dad's five-speed, Rivendell Bike blogs, and a 1970s Schwinn I borrowed at a campground, I decided to try these. They have changed my biking attitude. I sit up and look around more. I ride more slowly, but not to the extent I thought I would. I have to go a gear lower in headwinds around town, but I don't seem to care as much, either. Overall, I enjoy riding more than I used to. Though I am sure it is technically more work to ride with these bars due to poorer aerodynamic efficiency, it feels like less work due to my more relaxed outlook. I'm having more fun on my short commutes.

Good handlebar, great service.
Very comfortable bar and crazy fast delivery. There is a mark in the chrome that looks like a blood stain , but it didn't come off so I assume it's just from the plating process. It's on the bottom of the bar so no need to return it. Overall very nice and would definitely order again.
