Why have an organic processing then use plastic K cups? I would purchase these if they were in mesh compostable pods. Disappointed.

plastic does cause a problem but do i want something that is mesh and can grab dirt while it sit in my coffee holder? my suggestion is if the pods bother you go back to making a pot of coffee. myself i only drink two cups a day

yes, but not as well as other k-cups. sometimes you have to puncture it a second time. also there is not a lot of coffee per pod so it turns out a bit weak.

Can bottled spring water be used to make this coffee in a keurig machine? (type of water they recommend & reviews report problems using purified h2o.)

hi Jean, yes you can use spring water. here are the drawbacks with that . spring water as you know has a taste this may effect the taste of the coffee. also some of the minerals in the water will also effect the life of your coffee maker . that why distillata water is is recommended. but they haved filters you can use to catch the minerals in the water. my daughter worked for a water company so i got lots of info and if your spring water is in a bottle that may or may not say what is in it. i use distillata water in the coffee maker because i am lazy and dont want to buy filters. but i drink almost all waters. except tap cause are tap is to high in calcium . hope this info helps

My order had the coffee pods not in their own box, just thrown in a shipping box. Why would the seller do this?

I rec'd my coffee in the product's box within the Amazon box. Either there was an error at the factory or someone may have returned the coffee & already destroyed the pkg. This is not how they typically ship their product.
