Stuart Turner - Anti-Vibration Shower Pump Mounting Pad

On the surface these seem expensive. And what turns up looks like a relatively small slab of foam with a rubbery layer slapped on it. However the difference it made to the water pump in my house is tremendous. No more noise due to vibration. The density of the material is just right for absorbing the vibrations from the pump. So on reflection, it was worth it as I’m only ever purchasing one of these and it is the size it needs to be for the job it does.No

I bought this because it had the 2 layers, so it will last well. It did reduce the pump vibrations and noise a lot. Pretty happy.

Results in a quiet running pump but poor quality materials/manufacture with ribbed top layer lifting off, even before installation. Nevertheless, the end result was satisfactory.

Appears to the hand to be made of quality material and thicker than my previous pad with good sound reduction qualities.

Ridiculous price £29 for a little piece of Square phone very thin plastic top extortion just for fish tank water filters! Criminal price! I would not not by again!

This has made an improvement to the amount of noise we can hear when the pump is operational. The pad was smaller than I expected and I am sure you could buy something similar for less. That said it has done the trick.

Have installed this under a Stuart Turner 3 bar monsoon twin pump in our loft above a shower. It hasn't made a missive difference to the noise directly below, bu it has made it much quieter in all of the surrounding rooms.A pump that cost £400 should really come with this included. It is extremely expensive for what it is,, is also smaller than expected.

It is a 18x18cm square of 20mm thick closed cell foam with a 3mm thick anti-slip rubber layer stuck to it with double sided tape.The price of materials is less than £3.
