Laser (Includes Gunwale Fittings) Dynamic Dolly, Type 2 Dolly style allows bow of boats with a curled gunwale to hang from a specifically shaped handle fitting. Snug-fitting edge trim atop the handle fitting protects the gunwale gelcoat. Type is suitable for Laser, Byte, Gig Harbor 16, and more. Boat-specific tube and sling lengths provide a custom fit for each boat, enabling a balanced handle load and easy maneuvering. All joint fittings are through-bolted and designed for increased torque stability. Strong, 3" non-stretch, polyester sling provides wrap-around boat support. Adjustable, flexible V-fitting on tongue tube provides boat support forward of the sling and prevent boat and aluminum contact. Eyelets on sling and handle fittings facilitate securing boat to dolly in storage, on traileRS or in racks. Tie-down with the handle fitting eyelet helps prevent slippage on steep ramps. Easy dolly breakdown using the snap buttons on wheel shaft and tongue tube, as well as wing nuts on axle tube cross fitting. Pneumatic, non-corrosive, 16" x 4" wheels can be secured on wheel shaft with provided screws for added security. For soft sand conditions, tire pressure can be reduced to increase tire footprint. Excellent quality and fits a laser perfectly.
Very good quality of materials and simple to assemble. Can rest the boat on the strap or on the gunwale. No problems moving the boat around, launching, or retrieving.

Well worth getting a quality dolly like this for my Laser
I have tried all sorts of strap on wheel sets etc. to make launching my Laser easier. None really worked well, but this dolly is well designed and very solid in use. I wish I had bought this one years ago.

We really like the sturdiness of this dolly. Fits our standard laser perfectly and we can now launch from a rocky beach. Highly recommend!

Superbly engineered, simple and excellent quality product
I have had two dollies from them, one in the US and one in Europe. Got it, it is just a dolly but in Europe people come to me to look at it. It is light, easy to tow my Laser in wet sand, easy to clean, great delrin bearings. No rust (anodized high quality aluminum, thick wall), and stainless steel screws.You can take apart the wheels and the rest of the dolly in 2 minutes, then wash it off (salt and salt water).That's it. Very simple. But of course not easy to make.I love simple beautifully engineered products!

sailboat dolly done right - very high quality
I have one of these. In my experience, this is a very high quality product in every respect. The deceptively simple design is extremely well done. The struts and gusset fixtures are strong and well made. The assembly is a pleasure. Moving a laser sailboat with this is a joy. The dolly easily breaks down into 5 pieces (two wheels, axel-strap assembly, and two strut assemblies that all fit in the back of a car. Whoever designed and engineered this dolly knew their stuff and had a solid grasp of the problem they solved. If you have a laser sailboat and can afford one of these, its is a good investment. If you trailer your boat behind a car as I do, this dolly significantly expands the number of places where you can put your laser in the water.
