Firman1009 Portable Generator Cover, Double-Insulated Generator Cover, Fits Large Generators 5000 Watts and Up, 13.7" x 8.1" x 4", Large

This cover is a perfect fit for my Firman generator. It fits all the way down to the wheels, but will not cover the wheels entirely so just expect that to be the fit. Material feels good and the stitching is solid. This cover should last at least a few years and at the price, it's well worth it. It rained a ago and it protected the generator perfectly. I also noticed there is no condensation under the cover in the early morning when the morning dew is around, so it keeps the generator very dry.

This fit my 7571 like a glove. Seems to be a better quality than what I was expecting. I just use my generator only for power outages. This cover keeps the dust off and ready for the next outage.

I am sincerely surprised by the quality of this generator. Having had a Honda I was skeptic, My Honda died at the last Hurricane, we live in Florida, I ordered this one before Irma but unfortunately it arrived after it. Easy assembly of the accessories, Everithing looks high quality. I am an engineer, and I have been surprised to how quite the engine is. I would say 1 step louder than a Honda, but honestly I can't say because this is 3.5 Kw more than the Honda I had. For brake-in I used an electric heater, I run 15 minutes without load, then half hr with 300 W load. Cooled down then 2 hrs with 1 kw load, cooled down then 5 hrs with 1.5 Kw load. I did the brake in with SAE 30 high zinc Shell Rotella. After the brake in I filled with NAPA full synthetic (It is Valvoline) 10-30. I tested for 2 days with the whole house connected: AC/water heather, appliances, lights...everything. I filled 8 gallon gas every 9-10 hrs. No problems during service, no leaks, no noises and no loose parts after the test. I would say that was a little bit more quite after the test, but may be my impression. Stored and covered for the next Hurricane...if it comes. I strongly suggest this product.

Perfect Fit ... Excellent Quality

Bought this for our Firman HO8051 portable generator. This cover is a perfect fit and appears to be good quality - it’s a snug fit so won’t fit on the outside of the wheels to kee them covered, but that’s also not the intended purpose. I would call this a medium duty cover and not a heavy duty cover if that’s helpful. We won’t use the cover outside so I feel this will give us years of good protection. At the time of purchase, the price on Amazon was the same as Firman’s website however Firman charged shipping so Amazon Prime was the winner.

Fits the 8000w generator just fine.
