Are you sick of burning your arms while making food? Have you melted your synthetic fabric pot holders while trying to make 450 degree sourdough? These are great gloves. The fingers are a bit large so you don't have a lot of dexterity in the finger movement, BUT for removing the lava pans from the oven these are the holders to get.

My son and son-in-law were using this pair of gloves for Thanksgiving and they both loved them. My son does a turkey in a frier and my son in law bakes his turkey. They were passing the gloves back and forth. So today, Saturday after Thanksgiving I decided to purchase another pair for them so they can keep it at their own homes and use them all year long. A really great present for anyone that cooks- sleeves are long to prevent burns and the fingers give you a wonderful grip.

Nice quality elbow length gloves. I bought a pair for my auto mechanic who needed something to cover his arms when handling a hot motor-in this case it was an A/C compressor in a hot car (too long to explain why it was hot). I, without intending, have earned his gratitude forever. Everyone's happy! These gloves of course have thick fingers so can't maneuver small items. Keep that in mind when buying. Great for BBQ's, deep pizza ovens, anything that requires reaching into hot.

I purchased these oven gloves because my old fabric ones were worn and I burned myself taking my turkey out of the oven on Thanksgiving. I have had an opportunity to use these new gloves a few times and they are by far the best ones I have ever owned. I'm 52 and have owned quite a few gloves. They are superior. I am petite so they go all the way up to my elbows and my hands are small. My husband has larger hands and while the gloves fit him, they are quite snug on him but on my smaller hands, they are perfect. They have small nubs on the hands to provide grip which I LOVE. I was nervous about using something that seems like rubber in the oven but they are heat resistant silicone. I feel zero heat with these gloves. I intend to buy a pair for my daughter who is getting married soon. Definitely worth every penny.
