Surfaces not aligned properly
The tamper and rim surfaces are not parallel, resulting in an uneven coffee bed. This negates the tool's purpose.I have returned mine for a refund, which is a shame, as it would have been an ideal alternative to many of the vastly overpriced palm tampers currently on the market.
