HPI Deluxe, Spring Loaded Pool Cover Winch and Cable

It worked ok was decent quality to secure pool cover still holding ok.

Ok , I've seen alot of bad reviews for this ,stating the winch breaks and is a piece of junk . Well this is what i found , The cable is a pretty sturdy piece . does what it is supposed too. the winch is not a big heavy duty piece but it does the job ,all you really need is a snug fit on the cable to keep you cover on. What I found works well is I trimmed the cable so had a little slack and then tightened it up . if you don't trim you end up with 7 or 8 inches of cable your trying to wind up and makes a big mess. Will i buy this again. yes , these winches are not as bad as everyone is saying . I think they do what they need too and are worth the money.

This was great. But we had to order it after the pool cover we ordered from Amazon did not come with the winch and cable. So we actually spent more money for a part that was not included with the cover.Otherwise this has been the only problem we have had with an order.Thank you Diane Zaraza

Nice sturdy wire and winch. Worked well to hold the cover in place through a few windstorms already. Lets see how it fares over the winter...

If you want your pool cover to stay on in high winds this is the perfect solution. The only good thing about the nylon string the cover came with is I used it to pull the cable through. Highly recommend.
