I had wanted this dress and though I found it listed with many vendors online, I was stymied by seeing a lot of poor reviews of both the product and the vendor experience. I took a chance ordering this, and I was pleasantly surprised. This item is a good quality and actually arrived much sooner than expected. The sizing is pretty accurate for western measurements, even a bit generous. I am somewhat tall and quite curvy (5"8" and I normally wear a 16W). I should have ordered an XL, not a 2XL. But, many reviews of this style dress stated that the sizes ran small, so I opted for the 2XL. The length is perfect, just to the ankles and even though it is a bit big on me, it does not look terribly oversized. But it does have a very pear-shaped outline. I sew, so I may take it in a couple inches along the side seams. It is nice that the pockets are set further forward in the body along a second seam, so one does not have to move the pockets in order to take it in. The neck opening is nowhere near as generous as shown in the image -- I am small-shouldered, and even so, the actual neckline barely reaches to my collarbone. It is a bit claustrophobic, I will definitely need to alter it to a wider and lower scoop. It does fit nicely through the bust and falls in a clean line to the hips. But the bump or bubble part that looks draped in the image is actually quite pronounced and a somewhat odd shape. It isn't terrible, but it's weird. That said, it is so weird, that it's almost good? The fabric is very different from what I expected from the photos, where it appears to be a light-weight summer fabric, sort of floaty and with a lot of drape. What I received is actually made with a substantial cotton/linen of good quality, somewhat heavy weight, with a dense weave and a subtle sheen. Almost like a Gabardine. Yet, even with the weighty fabric, the garment doesn't "flow" - though it's not unflattering, it is sort of chaste and nun-like (I bought it in Black). So yeah - not sexy. Wouldn't think this is ideal fabric for hot weather; seems it would be too heavy for beach or resort wear, unless on a cool breezy day, or at night. The thickness of the fabric is likely the reason why that lower part is so pronounced and sticks out. Hoping the threads will loosen a bit with wear; definitely going to be cautious when washing so it doesn't shrink and the weave doesn't get tighter (cold water, line dry). For the price, this is a good quality dress and was worth the gamble. Just keep in mind the differences between the depiction and my description. I may even order another, but in the smaller XL size and different color - though I suppose in White might also look a bit nun-like, too. Maybe Blue?

I bought a little bit but I LOVE it. It's so beautiful and comfortable and roomy, yet complimentary to my figure and lightweight to wear in the summer. I'm 260 and 5'8" tall. I bought a XX-L.

Just what I wanted except for the wrinkles. Not an issue since I plan to wear primarily for solo at home lounging. Been wearing it with a long polyester slip underneath to make the feel more comfortable on bare skin. Don't like fabric softener so have not placed it in a clothes dryer. May do so in the future to soften up the feel of the fabric. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Since I don't get out much, this dress is super comfortable, easy on easy off, absorbing the sweat quickly but not staying wet, I wash it many times cold delicate, hang to dry, no need to iron, just adjust the sleeves. I am 5.3 overweight, doesn't drag on the grown, stylish also

Great material, has some weight to it. I'm a LARGE and my L size dress fits way too small. For it to drape like the picture it must be a 2xL - will try to return and reorder.The green dress came in one week. The black dress is taking 4 weeks.3 stars for fabric quality.0 stars for fit.

it's lovely! Linen..light and airy.

I'm wearing mine now, and couldn't be happier. I'm a size 4-6 and the small fits me well. Very comfortable and fashionable - although the flared hip/pockets might not be for everyone. As with all dark cottons, there is some fading over time.

the color is lovely and easy, free flow is great for relaxing around the house. it was listed as 100% cotton....NOT TRUE, it is 100% polyester...hot, hot ,hot fabric! it does not breathe and traps body heat...so I'm not interested in it .It has been returned.
