I have been searching for some time for quality built LED recessed lighting when I ran across these and I am very pleased with the aluminum construction and the dimability of these lights. They look great over my fireplace (I used them as accent lighting). When making an opening for these lights, you must take the spring width into account, not a big deal, but if not the 2.5 inch opening is too small so go with a 2.8 inch opening.

Color rating was super accurate. The brightness was right on. Small AC-DC transformer so it can fit into tight spots. Brightness was exactly what I was expecting. All bulbs were same color and brightness. Overall, very happy with the light.

For transparency, I have to mention I measured wrong and had to return these due to user measuring error. Now having had an additional 2 different brands, just 1" larger in diameter (all that was available), I'm really disappointed that I couldn't find these exact same ones in 4" (what I actually needed). The quality is no comparison, these are top of the line. I hope you find that's the case for you.

Look great. But one of the 6 I have installed failed within a year. Not sure if it's LED or transformer. Recommend buying extras

They look nice. Heavy duty construction and feel. Bright, you know it. As long as you don't put them on a dimmer, and let them full brightness you are fine. I've tried three different dimmer modules with Alexa. They strobe.. They strobe so fast you can and see the water spray droplets in the kitchen sink. Plus, because of he construction of the reflector, it casts so many harsh shadows, the previous ones (non-dimmable) had smooth reflectors and didn't cast so badly. I'll buy yet another set and try them out first before I install them...

These little guys turned out great. Paintable bezel to finish up the job for a professional look. Got the results I was looking for. Nailed it!

It remains to be seen if my licensed electrician and the whole team of local building inspectors can figure out how to wire these lights in a way that complies to code.The 120v connection to the in-line transformer must be a solid mechanical connection; like a wire nut; but the provided clips fall apart with the slightest tug. Replacing the clips with proper wire nuts fixes that problem, but leaves the greater problem of housing that load wire connection inside a properly mounted box.The lights look great. They have a very slim profile, and can easily be tilted and rotated to focus the beam. The units pop in and out of the hole in the drywall, so installation and replacement is very DIY. If they ever get installed, they will be excellent.I very much want these fixtures to work, but a room full of professionals are struggling to find a solution.If/when it is all done; one way or the other; I will edit this post. Until then, good luck with your installation.

3 of the lights are perfect but one is the wrong colour and the contact supplyer has now disappeared

Nice product - good service - good price but many failures. Made up it for to some extent by excellent service

I have now had 3 failed Downlights and it is the transformer that keeps going. Suggest steer clear.
