I have the good fortune of living in Waxahachie, TX, where the author of this cookbook lives and runs the most wonderful restaurant in North Texas!!! This is the 11th "Dove's Nest Cookbook" that I have purchased for friends that come to visit and dine. How many restaurants give out their tasty recipes? This book was fun. My friends and all bought it than as we made the recipes we wrote notes inside the book all over the pages. EG. added more mushrooms, less salt etc. All of our revision were in the book than we kept switching books. We loved a lot of the recipes...

There are some GREAT recipes in this book. Am making the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies to send over to college for my grandaughter this weekend.

very bad experience, the cookbook was falling apart and very dirty and stained plus someone's shopping list was inside plus I paid for a new book not used!!!

This cookbook has some really great Recipes! I have made two already.....The Chicken Soufle.......and pineapple, Cherry, Pecan Cake! That was really good!!!

I've eaten at the Dove's Nest twice. Each time I tried something new, from the appetizer to the dessert. I bought the recipe book on the second visit. I've cooked several dinners from it, as have my mom and sister-in-law. We all have had rave reviews on the outcome. Some recipes are quick and delicious, others are more complicated and elegant. Overall, it was a great purchase.
