This is a read I probably would not of picked up however being in the beauty biz(She uses eight different lip products, Sharla shows you how to exfoliate, soothe, plump, line, color, gloss, seal and smile).Being a spirtual person and having God in my heart I decided to purchase it. Sharla Fritz created this book in a unique way and it taught me a lot. It was introduced into my life at a perfect time, a time I really need to be taught a lesson, per se. Sometime we all tend to say things to others we later wish we could take back. At times an apology will set you free and other times it will not. This 40 Days of Spiritual passages will hold your interest with humor, pure common sense ,hopefully control our sometimes not so good behaviors and attitudes.It really enhanced my spiritual well being. So much that I gave a copy to my sister-in-law as a gift. She loved it, ordered it for her women’s weekly bible group and broke it up into an eight week study. This is worth the purchase and will truly enhance your life.

This has been a fun book for our Bible study group to read through together. It helps you take an honest look at the words coming out of your mouth. The book doesn't look at the words you speak in one area of your life (ie to your spouse, children, co-workers), but helps you look at all of those areas forcing you to look at the sins coming from your mouth. Yet the book doesn't leave you hanging with the burden of your sin, but shows you, Bibically, how to speak more gracefully to and about others.Ms. Fritz's book is well thought out and includes scriptural references throughout the lessons including a weekly Bible verse to commit to memory. Each daily lesson is short and plain spoken making it easy to complete the homework each day.I did find a few of the daily lessons felt a bit repetitive, but served more as a good reminder from a previous lesson than an annoyance.Overall this is a great Bible study book. Our group has greatly enjoyed reading through it together.

I would have loved to have done this in paper form instead of on the Kindle but the thoughts and context still worked for me as I read through the book. I have actually implemented some of her ideas and others I will try to incorporate into my life since my lips have a tendency to run away before I think before saying. Of course, isn't that sometimes what we do. She points that out and helps to see why that's not always a good thing. Share this with your ladies at church and a few of your favorite lip sticks... should be fun.

I'm leafy a woman's bible study using this book right now. The group is loving the messages in each chapter so far and we are learning together how to use our words to serve God and people. The author uses multiple examples from the bible and her own life that are easy to relate to. If you are looking for a book that will enhance your walk with Jesus in a practical way I would suggest you get "Bless These Lips"!!

I loved this study, Very thought provoking, inspiring and was very helpful to me. I feel like in the months since I have done this study that I choose my words more carefully and think of how they will affect the people who hear them. Of course I am not perfect at this but this book gave me the tools and Bible verses to focus on when I make mistakes!
