Fit well, good gloves/pads
These fit and work great for light sparring and FMA drills. Not for heavy duty kick boxing or boxing. Padded areas are made of foam, not hard materials. Gotta say, they look cool too lol. Makes you look like you have bionic arms lol. I bought size Medium/Large according to the size chart that measures across the back of your knuckles and they fit perfectly. I will not be doing heavy duty training with these so I don't know how long they will last if you use them for that. Not disappointed at all, I recommend them for light training.

Comfortable and effective
Got these for my autistic son's tantrums. They can be a little warm but totally worth it. They slip right on and are just padded enough so I don't have any problems without sacrificing and mobility. Thank you so much!

Special Needs Gear
I did not purchase these for sparring but, instead, for my son whom is severely autistic and tends to backhand strike his face, objects, and others. These work extremely well to prevent the injuries to his hands, forearms, and face, as well as, injuries to his caretakers. It does leave the finger tips free which I find, depending on his mood, can help him to use his aac device or his iPad and, possibly, get distracted long enough for his meltdown to end. The fingertips can also be used to remove the guards so, I recommend an elastic Velcro strap to wrap around the wrist in-between the hand and wrist padding. We also have several helmets, all soft, for different scenarios. These range from the f90 fn1 skull-cap to the hayabusa t3 used for severe self harm episodes. When it gets real heavy we need to switch from these to his lightweight kickboxing gloves to prevent tampering with the headgear and poking with revealed fingertips. One last point, always buy mma/athletic gear for special needs if at all possible, as opposed to medical gear. It is the exact same thing and costs hundreds or even thousands less!

decent
These arm guards offer a decent amount of forearm protection, not so much on the hands and knuckles. But if you do light sparing these are a good buy. I read some reviews of people using these for cosplay, they look cool and the Century logo is easy to peel off, but the material it's made out of would not be easy to paint or modify. I am a large(ish) sized guy with the arms to match, I ordered a large and it fits perfectly.

Looks so Cool!
These things are cool. My son loves them, he uses them for football. I got the small and they fit just right. My son is 14yrs. old 5' 6" 150lbs. They fit really good they are tight enough they will not slip down during practice. I went with the small because of reviews I read of med. being too big. Overall they are made really well. The material might be a little too thick around the forearm. Not too sure how they breath. They might make the user get hot.

Good for defending against sparring opponents or a pack of crazed weasels.
Great for sparring, blocked quite a few kicks using these, and felt well nothing. To test prior to sparring I had my son, first whack me with a shinai which I blocked with these with ease and without feeling a thing. We then switched to a bokken and repeated the test. after about 10 shots, he finally managed to hit me hard enough that I felt a minor sting through these pads. So I figured that they would be good for Taekwondo sparring.Good news, not only are they quite effective at absorbing impact, but they are fast, much faster than the cloth forearm guards and gloves are, also they play much better into a open hand fighting style than closed fist, but will transition there without interference. No realize that I'm not solely trained in TKD, but use a mish-mash of Karate, Kempo, Winchun and Maui-Ti and these guards play well into these styles, especially if you use active blocking, techniques these are for you.

Great for youth football
I just ordered a second pair because my son lost the first. Had them for a year. Many washings and lots of use - they held up well. Great protection for any kids in the trenches. Linebackers/linemen on both sides of the ball. Great protection that stays in place.

Mediocre, careful what you use them for apparently
I ordered this product to be used for a Halloween costume and then again in several different cosplays. They arrived much faster than I had expected and seemed well put together.Trying them on they were just a tiny bit big, but I had expected that (I'm maybe 100 lb soaking wet on a good day). Otherwise they were pretty comfortable.Wearing them on Halloween it's self is when the problems started. One of the index finger holes was considerably tighter that the other to the point of cutting off circulation and had to be cut open (I cut the second one as well, and sewed them back properly later on).The biggest annoyance was that the padding on the upper/inner portion of the right arm started to come up/off.I was not using these for combat or being rough with them in any way (I wore them at my retail job) and had only worn them for maybe three hours before I noticed it. I wonder the damage If I had been using them as actual padding. As noted before I can sew and did wind up fixing it (so far) when I got home, I was just disappointed I had to do so in the first place.

Not great quality or construction.
Not well designed. Does not cover knuckles or joints, knuckle coverings come to far up to top of hand allowing knuckles to graze and scrape when sparring. Could use armor reinforcements as well. Also drop the ego and make the logo smaller.
