JorVetPremium Cat Muzzle, Small

Just to clear up the sizing/ color coding confusion:They did away with yellow laces which was the small and is now orange.Blue laces are medium.Red laces are red.This is according to the manufacturer's instructions which came with mine February 2019.Otherwise, the small fits my 7 pound Chihuahua perfectly.

The muzzle I was sent looks absolutely nothing like the picture. I love the muzzles in the picture and I’m unsure why they sent a completely different product?

I use mine a lot for my cats. Clipping nails and other maintenance that would cause them to bite me.

Worked as described was able to clip claws.

Although the item itself is well designed (e.g. difficult for cat to kick off with hind feet) because of the unique head attachment mechanism, it is difficult to assess the correct size.Standard may work for most cats, but there is no guide on assessing size for smaller or larger cats - this means more returns for both the customer and supplier.Some sort of description re: size assessment would be helpful, especially since it seems to be a tool veterinarians use - note: the Jorvet website offers no additional information

This is great, as it blocks the cat's vision and they can still breathe well. We had been looking for these for years, ever since our vet had one and it worked like a charm on our cats who didn't like to be examined. My cats calm right down when these are on and no ill-effects.

Used this for my cats; one who gets nervous get his nails cut and the other who is just ornery (like going to the vet get nails cut, being around other animals, just about anything ire’s her).Fits if your cats has an “apple” head but not very good if they have a “wedge” head. The material is very stiff and lace is very hard to adjust to make a snug fit for a slimmer cat so they can’t easily remove it.
