I have been on statins for a few years. LDL not excessively high, but too high for my wife, the geriatric nurse.They don’t upset my stomach whether taken with or without a meal. No other noted side effects. And not super expensive.Do they work???Well, my numbers from the same drs I have been seeing for years, say YES!My routine has not changed, except i stopped taking the statins daily, and take these as recommended daily. I took my statins once or twice a week.Last 3 months Dr visit, LDL and triglycerides were lower and with in acceptable ranges.HOT DOG!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I found this product by accident. I gave blood six months ago and was shocked to see a level of 278. I decided to try it and no joke, got results from a blood donation a few weeks ago and it had dropped to 214. Still high, but this stuff works. In combo with fish oil, health eating, and a lot of walking.

I can't prove these are the reason, but I have been taking them for a year now without major changes to diet. My cholesterol decreased by over 70 points! Bad taste but worth it.

Bit of a garlic aftertaste but tolerable

I'm writing a review after purchasing and finishing my 7th bottle and after receiving the results of my bloodwork. Without making any changes to my food intake, I took this supplement at nights (2-3 hrs after dinner). I did not skip a single night. I wanted to see if it would make a difference in my LDL levels. After 5 months of taking it every single night, I took a blood test, and my LDL number had changed from (previously) 258 to 171. Yes, it smells/tastes awful (garlic powder), but try to not dwell on it and swallow the 3 pills per night as fast as possible.

Bought for my husband. They were recommended by his coworker to help with cholesterol. We were unable to use because he a gf swallow the capsules. We are unable to return. Has a strong garlic odor

I took 3 capsules every night for a month and ate steel cut oatmeal for breakfast every day. My total cholesterol went down 30 mg/dl from last year. My LDL went down 34 mg/dl and my Triglycerides 5 mg/dl. My total cholesterol is still high at 206 mg/dl so I will continue to take the capsules for even more good results.

Took cholesterol supplements for almost 60 days before my next schedule blood work. My cholesterol levels did drop. Will continue taking to see if my level will drop more.
