Great set! Compatible with the set we already have, which is great. The only problem we had was a horrible squeaking/chirping noise when the elevator was running. The problem is with the gear at the top of the elevator. We added a drop of oil (I actually just used olive oil) and now it runs quietly. Hope this helps others who have the same issue!

We have two sets of MindWare's marble runs and they are a lot of fun to play with! Some pieces have been broken and there are times when trying to get everything level can be a challenge, but only on very intricate and large constructions. The elevator is really fun - although a bit loud. Feels like a quality product that I would buy again.

I bought this for my grandkids for Christmas. It definitely took an adult to put it together but when it was done my grandkids had hours of fun playing with it. You can make several different types of runs but the instructions are not in English, therefore you have to look at pictures to put it together and just hope it's right. I myself tried but found it too complicated, my 26 year old son did a great job but it did take him about an hour figuring it out. I must say, they played with it forever.

I've bought marble run sets in the past but this is by far the best quality. The pieces are fairly large (comparatively speaking) and made of thick plastic. The elevator portion works well and my kids (ages 4 and 7) love playing with this set. It comes with a bunch of pieces, though somehow, it's never enough anyhow :)The packaging is nice, but it's just a regular box, so I would recommend purchasing some sort of bin or container to store the pieces.Ultimately, i'm very happy with this set and will buy add-on pieces/sets from this brand in the future.

Easy to put together, and my preschooler loves dropping marbles in it (and I enjoy it too). I’ve been using it without the elevator as it’s more interactive without it. Enjoy the different possibilities for how to build it.

My 4-year-old grandson LOVED this set -- and so did Dad and Granddad and his 6-year-old sister! The toy lends itself to endless design possibilities and the elevator definitely adds to the fun. It promotes creative, imaginative, and logical-thinking skills and is perfect for boys and/or girls. A quality product (as I have come to expect from MindWare toys) that provides hours of fun.
