| Warranty Description | Guardian Fall Protection warrants to the purchaser that all products are free from defect in material and workmanship at the time of shipment. Obligation under this warranty is limited to product replacement for the period of (2) years from the date of installation or use by the owner, provided that this period shall not exceed two (2) years from the date of shipment. This warranty is not transferable. No other person or firm is authorized to assume or assign for Guardian Fall Protection any other liability in connection with the sale or use of our products. Furthermore, this warranty is void if any product is changed or altered in any way or if the product is used in a manner other than for which it is intended. This warranty only covers defects in material and workmanship; it does not cover conditions resulting from normal wear and tear, neglect, abuse or accident. All returns to Guardian Fall Protection must have a return authorization which is obtained from our Customer Service department. All returns must be shipped prepaid. |

Well-built
I used this on top of the roof of my large shed to secure me so I could finish the shingles installation on a highly pitched roof. I used the screws that were included (nails are also included) and the hook feels very stable and secure.

Using two of these for fall protection with ropes and a harness in different locations on the roof/ladders.

Does what it's designed to do.
Well made. Saves me from falling off the roof. The last time I did that, the hospital bill was 50 thousand dollars. Learned my lesson and spent the 150 dollars on this, a lifeline, a fall arrestor and body harness. I installed it as a permanent mount on my roof and used roof tar to seal and waterproof it. I live in the tropics, in a relatively dry area, so figure I don't have to worry about dry rot of the treated plywood underneath the asphalt shingles.

This roof anchor is heavy duty
The roof anchor is about 1/8" thick steel, and has a 1/4" heavy eyelet for the lifeline clamp. One end of the plate on both plates has an eye for the eyelet and the rolled side is welded, the eyelet can freely move depending on which side of the peak you are on. The anchor came with half screws and half nails, I wanted screws, so I bought extra screws. I mounted the anchors permanently. I like the product very much.

Heavy duty fall protection anchor
Using this for fall protection while installing solar PV systems on mostly concrete tile roof. It's been great and came with the necessary screws ( several screw and nail options included) to safely screw it into the roofing decking.
