Not enough information I needed to rehab and release a squirrel. This book tells u about different squirrels and how to have one as a pet.

Good read for those who like squirrels.

Does not have much information on care, only has some facts about squirrels. I had already read more about them on the internet for free than was in this book. I was disappointed with this purchase.

Good documentation of squirrels

totally not worth it. As others said, you get more info on the internet for free. Also, the author speaks about feeding squirrels milk but declines to say what type. As a sq rescue worker of 25 years experience I can tell you this is a no-no! Cow milk, infomiel, KMR are NOT good choices. Ditto that deadly mix of homemade pediolite (sugar, salt and water -- no! Instant death!) Some miilk/formulas are too rich, others will give the babies metabolic bone disease and result in death. This kind of misinformation, for me, makes this book dangerous. Please go to coast and canyon website for proper formula mixes - or better yet, turn over any found infants to an experienced rehabber.

Poor. A bare bones accumulation of notes rather than a truly helpful guide. Ads suggest what the content does not deliver.

Very very light, not very helpful I'm afraid. Does not help a great deal, nor does it give precise information. Some typos as well, (this is not a huge issue but it prooves that it could be improved).Overall, I don't want to be mean, but it is definitely not a must-buy.

Very basic, didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. Pointless purchase.
