Vector 14x 2 Pack

I thought butane was butane. For years I have fought with the store brands, or the special deals at the checkout counter and I cannot tell you the times right when I need a torch or lighter to work it would not. Then, finally I took the plunge and ordered these. MY GAWD!!!!!! I am a believer NOW because this fuel is amazing. What ever this stuff is, get it and you will be amazed. Lighter not working when you need, cordless soldering iron, or heat gun snuffing out before the job is done this fuel will end those setbacks. Now of course if there are mechanical issues then those will need to be addressed, but as for fuel it will always keep this stuff on hand. I owe a huge THANK YOU to Sam from LEXIVON who recommended I try this. Do it, do it now.....you will be happy.

I've tried other brands and also the quintuple filtered version from Vector and they were all pretty much the same so I figured the 14x filtered claim on this was meaningless but I was wrong. After filling with this my torch burns noticeably better (longer flame on the same setting I used all the other brands on) and I have yet to not light the torch on the first try! This is what I will buy from now on so long as it is still available the next time I need butane, the other brands I've tried (Zippo, Colibri, and Ronson) as well as the quintuple filtered version of this by Vector all worked well enough but this really seems significantly better to me.

I've thrown away every butane lighter I ever bought, they eventually clog. Until I started using the Vector 14 butane. So clean, I've had the same butane cigar lighter for 5 years now. Even the disposables are lasting until the flint wears out. Each cannister lasts me about a year. I won't use anything else since I found this stuff.

I liked it but don't feel like it was refined enough although when I used it to extract the active ingredient from cannabis. It had a funny taste to it after I purged it.

Well I had always thought that butane was butane was butane. I stumbled on this item when buying a lighter to use on my kayak trips. I read severe a reviews stating that this butane had made old lighters start working again so I jumped. Well it's true. I had 5 lighters that just wouldn't work consistently. Often either not lighting or going out right after ignition. Well I emptied them and then refilled with this butane. I waited about 20 minutes after filling each before lighting to allow them to come to room temperature. Well every single one of them now works perfectly. I'm speechless. I was ready to throw them all away. I guess the butane does matter. This is all I'll ever use moving forward. Thanks for a great product. I've never had a product impress me this much.

I use these to refill Thermocell cartridges. Search YouTube for the method. You must sand the end of the appropriate attachment slightly so that it is NOT perfectly flat in order to get it to work, but once you do, it works great and if you use a Thermocell as much as I do, saves lots and lots of money. I have heard of a number of reviews saying that the plastic nozzles are cheap on these butane cans but the ratio of complaints to satisfied customers was pretty low so I bought some vector 14x butane anyway. I picked up 2 cans to use on my Messermeister FT-912 culinary blowtorch but I had some trouble refueling it. Most of the butane would spray out the sides when filling and not much would actually fill the torch. I tried some of the addaptors but 4 of 5 of them have flat tips and don't appear to be made for use with this particular chefflamme job. In the end, I could only fill the torch to the point we're I would get roughly 2-5 minutes of use each time I refilled. I watched some YouTube tutorials on butane refueling to make sure I was doing it right and it seems that either the tips are incompatible with my torch or they were poorly designed. The actual butane seems to be of good quality but I am going to have to agree with a number of other reviewers on the seemingly cheap plastic nozzles.

this stuff is SOOOOO much better than anything else on the market. It is incredible. I won't run anything else in my lighters, and I have many. Burns better, hotter, smoother, brings old plugged up lighters back to life. Stuff is awesome. If fuel was free, I'd buy this - at twice the price. No kidding.
