Diamond DGuides Choice Ruger Blackhawk Chest Holster, 4 5/8-Inch

Beautiful holster for my Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag. Front sight digs in the leather a bit and the ejector rod catches but looks like it will wear in ok. Had a hard time adjusting it to bring it up off my stomach and high enough on my chest. Might have to punch some of my own holes and cut off some extra strap. And I'm not a small man @ 6ft 230lbs and physically fit. Would definitely fit bigger people, persons with smaller frames it will ride a little lower. I really like how it fits with a big pack. the weight distribution is much better than any other holster I've had one of my Blackhawks in. In my opinion this is the only way this gun should be carried when in the mountains if you want immediate access to it. The hammer thong is a nice touch especially if you encounter some rough terrain.

Comfort craftsmanship and value are the best with these guys . Love the chest holster man that thing fits great . Gun fits very well like no other leather holster l own. Will buy more items from them.

I purchased this just prior to a North Idaho hunt this spring. I spend quite a lot of time on quad runner. I have used different holsters over the years. Tactical vest's, shoulder holsters and thigh holsters. This is the one true holster that worked for me. From many years as a fish and game officer this holster really does what I wanted. I am carrying a Ruger new model 45 colt with 4 5/8" barrel. The gun stays secure and doesn't bounce. I have not yet tried fly fishing with it yet. I received 3 days prior to going on my hunt and wore all three days at work to break it in. I truly love this holster.

I bought the for a 44 magnum that is very heavy. The holster was made very well. I can carry the gun all day comfortably. Once you tighten the chest strap it takes the weight off your shoulders.

It looked very well made, and was as described. I purchased it for a gift, so don't know how well it worked out, but it was nice, great workmanship

The holster arrived when promised and was a great fit for the weapon purchased for. The fit and finish was excellent and quality is superb. This is the best holster of its type on the market.

Exceeded all expectations. Fit my pistol perfectly. This may well be the best method to carry a heavy magnum pistol while in the field.
