Nice tree, but shallow shelves
I was looking for a tree that my cats can climb, for it to be steady, have a slim profile, and be easy to push out of the way. Tall order! This tree is nice and solid, heavy but slides across a non-carpeted floor very easily. It wobbles a little when they make big jumps, but they are not afraid and I doubt it will fall over. The only negative is that there is not quite enough room for them to climb from step to step. The levels are steep and shallow, so sometimes my cats make huge jumps to get down or scramble up the post instead of bothering with the steps. However, overall works well for tight spaces and is solid construction.

It was not only a great value but after 2 months
I was really surprised at the sturdiness and quality for the price. It was not only a great value but after 2 months, it’s not shedding, showing signs of wear or leaving little pieces of carpet on my floor. It isn’t cheaply made. I am very happy with it!!

Cats love it!
Delivery driver hated it, but the cats love it! The carpet backing is made different and it does come apart when the cats scratch at it. Sturdy as well, and doesn't take up a ton of space.

Cat loves it!
This was a purchase on faith, and well worth it. Our cat loved it right out of the box and never looked back. It's held up very well to her constant attacks, too. We put it by a window, between a bookshelf and her sturdy crate, and when she knocks about from time to time it shifts but doesn't fall. She loves to nap at the top, too. I imagine that I might need to re-carpet it sometime, but for now it's fine, and the underlying structure is solid. It came fully together and wasn't even that heavy.

5 level large cat tree
The item came promptly and was as described. I ordered the large five level cat tree and found the “steps” to be a little short on the sides that the cat would have to jump down on causing them to jump from a high level to get down once climbing up. For stability I would like the base to be a little bigger or heavier. The thing I completely disliked was the new carpet smell which permeated the entire room it was in. I did not want either myself or the animals smelling and laying on whatever chemicals (dyes etc) were in the carpet. I have since placed the tree on a screened porch and hope over time the smell will abate.

Kitty in the corner? This will keep your cat feeling in charge!
My cat loves being up high. This tower is so tall I put it into a corner. My cat loves this tower. A good solid scratcher! CAT MOM APPROVED

No solid wood in the most important part
The tree arrived (in a badly damaged box) from UPS. When removed from the box, the particleboard base creaked and appeared to have been damaged as well. The tree does not stand on its own without falling over or stabilized by leaning it up against the wall. I opted to write this review initially rather than returning in hopes the manufacturer takes notice and offers a replacement. A 70" tall tree able to accommodate multiple cats should be the strongest in the most important part - the base. It's just a piece of cheap particleboard and no other support augmentation. I'd really like to see steel brackets and other methods used to keep this tree sturdy and safe for pets. This was undoubtedly damaged during shipment, but it needs to be more rugged.

Love how sturdy this condo is
Love how sturdy this condo is. I just wish the platforms were different width. Safer for heavier cats. Nevertheless it's a great condo
